The Meaning of Life

The meaning of life,
is a very serious subject.

It has to be --
it's played out

on a three-dimensional pool table.

Be Baby Be

Going on up that road,
Where trouble finds its peace.

Where the rainbow tells you,
The colours of everything that be.

Be Baby Be
Be Baby Be

Is what the road is telling you.
Going up, washing all the troubles away,
Up below and down above.
Rolling up and down, round and round,
Into the wheel, the circle of life.

That's what I'm telling you,
What the rainbow tells you,
What the stars tell you.
The colours of everything that be.

Be Baby Be
Be Baby Be
Be my Baby
Oh Be

And go on, up that road,
Where trouble finds its peace,
Is what the rainbow is telling you,
What the stars are telling you,
I'm telling you.

Be Baby Be
Be Baby Be

The colours of everything will be.
My Baby will be.

Be Baby Be
Be Baby Be
Baby Be
Baby Be

Hockey fans' anguish . . . plus some memories, thrown in, for good measure --

Road-Side Humor

I sat me down,
as did, you, too.
The sofa, worn,
the Bruins, too.

But, hands, we held,
to keep me warm --
and hoped the Bruins
returned to form.

Triple 777

Alright, let's do it...
On the triple 777.

Take a sip from my special wine,
On the double A,
Thinking Triple 777.

The capo slides to the fifth fret
And the tones fly high
To the Triple 777.

They dream it,
They do it,
They do the sound,
Flying high up Venus'
Illusionary mirages
Of colonized monopolies.

On the double A,
Thinking Triple 777.

We dream it
We do it
Alright..... alright

On the triple 777.... On the Triple 777

Take five out of the Book Of Love,
Take five and Be Love,
On the triple 777,
Alright, let's do it...

Wohow wow wow

On the double A,
Thinking Triple 777.

I dream it
I do it
On the Triple 777.

My Friend

The wind was rolling
Down the clouds.

A breeze left behind
A blessed mind.

To the stranger in the street,
I find my friend in need.

His hat covered his eyes,
Kept away from sight.

The bird in the sky
Found his friend indeed.

The wind was rolling
Down the riverbank.

The water reflected
The stranger's sight.

He told me everything was alright
But the wind told me otherwise.

The story was well-known
In each Joe, Love had grown.

The breeze left behind
A desert angel.

To the stranger in the sky,
I found my friend indeed.

In the eye of the beholder,
The stranger in the street.

And the wind kept on rolling
Down his eyes,

Where it hit the street,
With all its might.

He was the new grown seed,
Not ready to be sowed.

He was my friend in need,
My friend indeed.

He told me Love heals everything
And the wind was about to sing,

Sing a song for my friend in need,
My friend indeed.

To The Lord Of All Creations

To the Lord of all creations.
I thank Thee for Thy trust
In us, humankind.

I thank Thee for fighting
The monsters with me.

I thank Thee for all
The insights You have given me.

I thank Thee for keeping
That demon away,
That demon, with reasons
That crucify your mind.

I thank Thee for thy patience.
I thank Thee for helping me..

You are precious, dear Lord.
Make us strong,
Make us strong as the soldiers
In your army of righteousness.

I thank Thee Lord,
For all the blessings
you have given me,
For all the good friends
That crossed my path.

To the Lord of all creations.
We trust Thee with all our hearts.
We follow the path you have chosen for us,
With the perfection that is Thee.

We breathe the love that is Thee.
We breathe the life that is Thee..

Here is an environment we might pray to the Lord, to soften:

Commuter Time

Outta my way,
I'm making bread.
If you don't move,
I'll leave you dead.

Don't tread on me --
I'll tread on you.
First come, first served,
Is now thee rule.

Faster, faster,
Is the game.
Up the pace,
But, feel no pain.

Puff a joint,
Rich, the point.

A Journey
Into Infinite Smallness

Smaller, and smaller . . .
Outside the hull of our ship,
the dimensions shrank
beyond comprehension.

Inside, we seemed
to be unaffected.

Finally,
we could hear music
from far away.

After becoming exquisitely smaller,
our environment
suddenly transformed
into normal size,
once again . . .

And,
the music became
painfully beautiful.

Die Grüss (ein Tur weiter)

Obwohl du nicht sprechst,
Höre ich deine Worte,
Laut, wie zehntausend Schreie
In meinen Ohr.

Obwohl ich dich nicht sehe,
Stehst du for mich.

Die Sonne am Horizont grüsst dir,
Aber du bist nicht hier.

Ich grüsse zuruck
Wann ich dich sehe.
Wann ich dich höre.
Wann du bei mich sind.
Wann ich dich grüsse.

Die Sicherheit hat die Vergangenheit
In dem Ausgang gegrüsst und
Die Tur geschlossen.

Sie sind nicht mehr bei mich.
Ich sehe euch nicht mehr.
Ich grüsse Ihnen einen letstes Mahl
Und gehe ein Tur weiter.

Die Tur weiter,
Wo die Liebe wartet,
Wo die Freiheit hinweist
Und mich einen besseres Leben versprecht.

Ich halte meinen Tat bei die Worte
Und gehe nicht mehr zuruck.

Tell Me

You didn't tell me, oh baby.
Did you tell me to love you?
Did you want me to love you?
Did you want me to be near,
Oh did you tell me?

You didn't tell me..
I swear I could've heard
Your whispering in my ear.
I can feel your hand in mine,
Not shaking, but touching.

I can feel so much.
I can feel you so much.
Oh baby, I say
Well well well.

The whirling wind goes
Through your hair,
Where the thorntree
Forgot about crunching for the C.

You didn't tell me, oh baby.
Did you tell me you love me?
Did you want me to love you?
Did you want me to be near,
Oh did you tell me?

Oh baby, come and tell me
The whispers I've heard,
The touch I felt,
The feeling you had,
Well well, well oh well.

I swear I could've died
In your arms,
In your eyes,
In your life..

A New Day

I'd say.
Well, I'd say..

When everything should fall
Into a new day, the sun would smile
All of our worries away.

Into a new day.
Into a new day..

Where everything would
Rise and shine
Into a new day.

The moon could smile
And shine our worries away
But she is blocked by an angel,
Holding a gun, pointing it at the sun.

Holding a gun.
To the sun..

Diving and shining
Into a new day.
Into a new day..

Our worries away..

They fall.
They fall
Into a new day..

The moon would smile
To the sun, rising and shining
Into a new day..

I'd say.
Well, I'd say.
Into a new day..

Losing the gun,
Rising and shining
Our worries away.

Into a new day.
Into a new day..

The Silk Roads II

For grain and oil,
or silk and spoil,
We wend our way,
and have our say.

Jobs disappear,
with every year,
We wring our hands,
blame other lands.

A leader's voice,
might give one choice,
when many minds,
consensus binds.

Procrastinate?
Our children wait.

Inspiration, for the following poem, drawn from "Fascism: A Warning", by Madeleine Albright --
and, a local life guard.

My Choice

The sea wouldn't rise,
and flood my house. . .
But, rise, it did --
I waited, too late.

*

A choice of help,
is still available --
one life guard,
or a team of them.

Should I chance
on an individual's quick save,
or, wait for group consensus?

The choice, again,
is mine --

for as long
as it's available.
