Stand Pat

Drones swarm over the field.
Beer bubbles waft upwards,
to join them.
Hot dogs slathered in mustard and relish.

Oh, yes --

The game.

Pats vs Rams

What would make it even more interesting?

Change the rules --

Football into Rugby.

Can't be done?

Ask the White House.

Nancy in Wonderland

Off with their heads!
You're nothing but a deck of cards!
I'm late, for an important date!
Of walruses and kings.

A fairy story,
fit for a king. . .
and
all his followers.
And the Joker?

Let's applaud
the Joker.
Very important man.
Yes, indeed.

And, he even wears white makeup.
Very becoming --
for a Joker.

When will the real game begin?
When the cards are dealt,
once again.

I'm fine, Byron. I trust all is well, in Canada-land, with you.
I visited Victoria, BC, and Butchart Gardens, a few times, back in the '60's, when living in Seattle. Wonderful
experiences.

Fantastique

Nous sommes tous alignées
Par une méthode cosmique,
Qui me semble fantastique.

Qui me semble fantastique.

Je retourne chez moi,
Ou je raconte l'histoire à mes amis.
Ils sont fantastiques, mes amis.

Can I Come Along With You?

Yes, you can.

Any time you want.

I accept you,
and
will never reject you.

You will be my best coffee-mate,
ever.

The true story behind this initial question, was profoundly sad. For another lady, however,
in a similar situation, a happier ending was effected, as shown in the resolution, here. Such is life. . .

Roll With Me

As I roll down the highway,
My thoughts leading astray,
I find the peace, I'm looking for,
In search for my heart, feeling so sore.

Feel it with me,
Roll with me,
Up and down,
Round and round.

As I look through the clouds,
The music not too loud,
I see the piece of sky, I'm looking for,
I don't need to see more.

See it with me,
Roll with me,
Up and down,
Round and round.

I'm rolling on down the highway,
My thoughts, leading astray,
I find my heart, my sore heart,
In search for some freedom, never apart.

Find it with me,
Roll with me,
Up and down,
Round and round.

As I search for my life, I lost somewhere..

And to tell you the truth, life isn't fair..

Live it up!
Roll with me!
Up and down,
Round and round.

Redemption Day

The fields of joy
Behind that period
Of freedom and liberty,
Are calling me into eternal grace.

Redemption day is nigh,
To free all souls,
To free all minds.

Oh redemption day,
Redemption day.

The cracks in time
Are cracking my code,
In front of that period
Of freedom and liberty.

They are calling me
Into eternal grace.

Redemption day is nigh,
To free all souls,
To free all minds.

Oh redemption day,
Redemption day.

I Have To Get Used (to it)

I have to get used.

I have to get used
To the busy bees around me.

So down we go,
Down in the black hole
To another universe.

His whole life, one is searching for the truth,
And we still don't know it when we die.

Building up a defence,
Kinda like a brick wall.

The elderyflowers by the water
Shake their heads and think
Of the sunshine and the fragrance of summer.

I have to get used..

I have to get used
To the busy bees around me.

So diving into that hole,
Searching for the truth,
Knowing everything, even when we die.

I have to get used to it.

Gasoline

Sometimes my mega mega white truck
Turns to red, and I want to rape my guitar,
Ask Seasick, he knows.
We all know, because sometimes my truck loses its gasoline on the lost highway.
Then it has the color black.

And I don't get my gasoline back,
Gasoline man, if you know what I mean.

Most of the times my truck is white,
But not for long on this planet.
It turns to red by sight of the so called 'übermensch',
Who mock the Lord and who think they created earth
And this f**ing universe, you f**ing imbeciles!

And I don't even get my gasoline back..

They steal a bit more from me,
As my truck is turning to the color black again.

And I don't get my gasoline back,
Gasoline man, if you know what I mean.

Thinking Things Through

I have to give my friends
Some time to think through.

Thinking things through,
Through Thy Threshold,
Thriving a Thousand thoughts.

My friends are lending me
Some time to think things through.

Through thickening thoughts,
Through the thresholds,
Thinking things through.

Through the threat of
ThinkingThings though,
Thoroughly, thinking through
Throbbing thieves of the thresholds,
Thinking things through,

Thousand thoughts, thinking
ThroughThy thresholds.

Thy thoughts, thrivingly theft.
Thee Thred a trodden, troubled path..

Thinking the thoughts, twirling.

Intertwinement

Thinking thoughts through
Thy troubled thoughs, thought.

The poem, "Bizarrity", was inspired by the book, "My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry", by Fredrik Backman.

Bizarrity

A light rain parts
the fog and mist.
I set my book aside.

No raven taps
upon the door,
to quote its "..never more".

A spooky scene,
quite new, to me.
Non-fiction, my forte.

*

A book-discussion
book to read,
to brave with added twist:

Large Print remained
on shelf, for me.
I checked out book, reluctantly.

*

Up and down I trace the words,
their meanings change, with glee.
Or, has the plot, itself, that's changed . . .

to add a twist, for me.

The Silent Night (i fall)

In the silent night,
The stars fall from the sky,
They fall into my basket of love.

As I fall into the darkness of night,
The silent night, where stars fall from the sky
And fall into my basket of love.

As I fall into the brightness of day,
The day of the silent night,
As stars fall from the sky
And fall into my basket of love.

As I fall into a new black hole,
On the day of the silent night
And stars fall from the sky,
They fall into my basket of love.

As I fall into the brightness of a black hole,
On the day of the silent night,
The silent night, of stars that fall from the sky,
Falling into my basket of love.

As I fall into a new day,
And into the silent night
And stars fall from the sky
And fall into my basket of love.

I fall into a new day,
On the silent night,
Where stars fall from the sky,
Falling into my basket of love..

You've woven musical baskets of love, Julie. Beautiful. I know a lady who weaves with yarn, but is done just with the sound of
clicking needles. How lovely, each way. Thanks, for the perspective, Julie.

Life Is Simple

Life is simple
When you look at the butterfly
And the tiny lines
Between the colors
On its open wings.

Life is simple
When I look at you
And your eyes,
Deeper than the ocean blue.

Yes, life is simple
When I look at the sunshine
And the birds flying high,
Free as a bird
In the sunshine..

Why life is simple,
No one can tell,
Not even the butterfly,
Flying its wings to my eternal love,
High in the sky, high with the butterfly.

And I smile
Because life is simple,
Simple as your big blue eyes,
The deepest of the ocean blues.

Yes I smile
Because life is simple.

And I cry
Because life is simple.

Oh I fly
Because life is simple.

Life is simple.
