I have upgraded my device to the latest build, however, I am still getting messages that the app_info file doesn't have a useable version of set@home v7 or astropulse v6. How may I rectify this?

Try restart boinc client or reattach to project. Sometime an updating when boinc client is run doesnt work.

Restarting and reattaching the client didn't seem to do anything. Finally, I uninstalled and reinstalled the application which did the trick. Now the device is happily crunching a v7 WU.

Seti v7 keeps crashing out on my Galaxy S3. Out of a dozen workunits sent, only two successfully completed. I have tried detaching and re-attaching the project, as well as fully re-installing BOINC. No luck. Other projects seem to work fine.

Hi. Can you try bugcatcher mode? more info at: http://nativeboinc.org/site/for_users/bugcatch.

When application fails, bugcatcher catch segfault (or any other strange fail)
and allow to send to me. This can help me to determine what is reason of fail.

It says I need to install the bug catch version. Will this prevent me from updating automatically from the play store later?

Edit - installed the bugcheck version. The buttons for sending or saving the logs are greyed out.

Is bugchatch list is empty? Very likely bugcatch didnt catch bugs. After catching, going to be displayed notification about it.

Hi, I decided to try this, too!
After a clean install, my first task gave computation error here! So I uninstalled NativeBOINC and installed the BugCatcher version. Second task also gave computation error - which was caught by the BugCatcher mode. I tried to send it but I am not sure I succeeded to do it, so I saved it to SD card. I'll post the bug report in a separate post.
The third task, unexpected for me, ended very quickly and was granted 99 credit pts!?! I didn't expect that much of a credit for such a short ended workunit.
Fourth task is running 13 hours already without a crash. Interesting is that task did at least 3 restarts from 0,000% by itself!?! At the moment it's at 3,5% again. Restarts from 0,000% were not detected as bugs from the BugCatcher software. I'll let task run for now!

I'll post the bug report in a separate post.
