That's something new. Earlier I got info back that something unknown was slowing Isaac down, and that they were looking into it. But this loading of the PM box corrupting, perhaps that they're adding the Sent box as well. Dunno. Minecraft is taking up too much of my time. ;-) Definitely stalls there: <form action="forum_search_action.php" method="POST"> <table cellpadding="5" width="100%" class="forum_header"><tr> <td> <input type="hidden" name="search_max_time" value="30"> <input type="hidden" name="search_forum" value="-1"> <input type="hidden" name="search_sort" value="5"> <input type="text" name="search_keywords"> <input class="btn" title="Search for words in forum messages" type="submit" value="Search forums"><br> <span class="smalltext"><a href="forum_search.php">Advanced search</a></span> </td> <td align="right"> <p>Private messages: fff and no more. There was a feature request for enhancements to the private message system today - I wonder if David is trying to code it? Edit - and the post-login account page (home.php) stalls with an 'fff', too: <td valign=top><table class=bordered width="100%"><tr><td class="heading" colspan="2">Community</td></tr> <tr><td width="40%" class=fieldname>Profile</td><td class=fieldvalue><a href="create_profile.php">Create</a></td></tr> <tr><td width="40%" class=fieldname>Message boards</td><td class=fieldvalue><a href="http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_user_posts.php?userid=1675">1000 posts</a></td></tr> fff |

Minecraft is taking up too much of my time. ;-) My feature request was some 4 hours after your post about the lag ;) If David is trying to reinvent the wheel instead of using PrimeGrid's solution, I'm glad he's trying it on a different server than Seti Main for once! Everything of the BOINC domain is on Isaac. However, apparently Matt had fixed the forums earlier... it looks fine when you're logged off, which is how he looked at them. It's when you try to log in, that the problems start. I just sent them a thousand words replacement... :P |

Everything of the BOINC domain is on Isaac. Boinc forums seem much improved now. Claggy |

Heading off for the next few days, so wishing all a happy easter & trust the move goes smoothly. Setting all rigs to NNT until the 8th to give the project time to iron out any issues that may arise. Until then, everyone have a good week. |

I'm going to set both of my machines to "no network communications" late Sunday night, and then looking forward to Wednesday afternoon. :) Linux laptop: record uptime: 1511d 20h 19m (ended due to the power brick giving-up) |

Well I just went through all my backup projects' preferences and all are now set to take over selected hardware as SETI work runs out during the move. I hope you all enjoyed a good Easter. Cheers. |

Like many others, have set to NNT. Cache is currently empty. Hoping the server relocation goes well. System maintenance on my cruncher this week. Cheers! |

We have the web server back but how will we know when the data-related servers are back online? |

And it looks like we have twice the link capacity now, unless the scale goes higher. Cheers. |

And it looks like we have twice the link capacity now, unless the scale goes higher. I'd imagine it's auto-scaling (remember it does zero-suppression when the lowest point is greater than zero) so it may have just upped to 200 Mbps once a point over 100 Mbps was plotted. |

The "old" one was also a gigabit link (gigabitethernet2_3), but that one was throttled to about 100Mb Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

According to the name it's a gigabitethernet link: The old Cricket was a gigabit interface too - gigabitethernet2_3, to be precise. But that only tells us about the capability of that single interface on that particular router - doesn't tell us anything about the other hardware, the cabling, and the software policies in place elsewhere on the route. |

The link just passed 200Mbit: Cur: 203.20 Mbits/sec |
