Message 1350421 - Posted: 25 Mar 2013, 7:14:19 UTC - in response to Message 1350363.

I set my BOINC settings to have 10 days of work (the maximum) trying to get it to have something to work on come 1 April.

Won't make difference. There have been server side limits in place for some time now.

Your friend should have known better than to redistribute.

It was not me.

I have had a number of requests to do so, but the trust of the Lunatics fringe is more important to me than granting such requests.

I do hope that those I have turned down would respect that as well.

I do from time to time function outside of the boxen.
This is just one area where I have drawn the line.

That would be great if I could get that. I let it run overnight and now I have 21 CPU and 1 GPU work units not currently being processed and thats a big improvement from yesterday where I had only 2 wu's extra.

Have you made the TCP mod yet?

BTW...I see you have now sent in over 90 valid results, so things are looking up.

You do however have a problem with your GPU - it is producing errors by the bucketful - please take a look at this thread:

Upgrade your video drivers might solve that

I think that was the first suggestion I made in this thread.

600 series + stock app = errors.

Upgrade your video drivers might solve that

Stock application errors on a GTX 6xx 'Kepler' can only be solved by downgrading video drivers - and not every GPU in the range can run under the older 301.42 driver. Setting CUDA_GRID_SIZE_COMPAT is a more generic workround.

Guys, do pay attention.
Those are old tasks erroing out - he's since switched to a Lunatics installer and is happily crunching on x41g.

I did note the successfully completed tasks.

That's why I picked rob's post to reply to and not yours ;)
However, since he wasn't the only one who was getting stuff wrong, I used the plural 'guys'

No worries.
All in the passing of posts.
I get things wrong too, of course.
Actually, I am rather famous for it....LOL.

Yeah that was from the 7.0.58 version that I had installed for a day. For some reason all my CPU cores were processing CUDA wu's. It should be fixed now and I haven't seen my errors growing any.
