Wnning on a cool clear Saturday morning. Failed open at 0600 (PDT), went out for a coffeee and to watch the sun rise over the southern Sierras. (Used to be able to see them from the back yard, trees are too tall now). Getting some 'net work done before Saturday Cup of Jazz. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

My "cool" Saturday morning preceded a cooler Saturday afternoon... More damp, more snow, more cold to follow :-( Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Waiting for my train win Both wins. It's a beautiful sunny day here. I should be out taking pictures of trains, but there's nothing around noteworthy enough to justify the 36F temp. Anyway, I think I need a nap so I can be fully awake all day tomorrow after a short night of sleep tonight. Lunch, nap, win! Try driving one of these V8 babies. No windscreen and 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds given over 900 BHP per tonne power ... The Ariel Atom 3 litre V8 with 500BHP is quicker than the 300BHP 2 litre version, which hits 0-62kph (0-60mph) in 2.8 seconds, has a power to weight ratio of 817+ BHP per tonne allowing a 0-60 in 2.3 seconds A video of the Atom 500 being driven It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues |

It does have a windscreen. All ten square inches of it. :) Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. |
