Well I was about to go the mail drop in my 10 year old Prius.
Clutch? What Clutch? Gearbox? What's that?
But you guys talking environment have convinced me that I should walk.
And gratefully because I still can. Enjoy the F1.

Here's a 'Stang for ya, Vick.

Think you can handle a 1,200HP Shelby?

Drool

Oh come on, Carlos.
Only about $210,000...
And geez, it runs on regular gas.

Oh the car price is not the issue, it the cost of gas.

I am retiring my Jeep in favor of an Audi A3 TDI. 50 mpg and I can burn biofuel. I ordered one and it should be delivered and ready to pick up this weekend. Remember I am Senior Environmental Manager for the largest PV solar power plant on the earth. I need to be a green as I can be.

And that looks like a fine ride too, Carlos.

..but in the end I did drive, because we now have snow flurries here.

If we are really talking about daily ride, here is what I ride for about an hour every day.

Now F1 time.

Wnning on a cool clear Saturday morning.
Failed open at 0600 (PDT), went out for a coffeee and to watch the sun rise over the southern Sierras. (Used to be able to see them from the back yard, trees are too tall now). Getting some 'net work done before Saturday Cup of Jazz.

My "cool" Saturday morning preceded a cooler Saturday afternoon...
More damp, more snow, more cold to follow :-(

Audi A3 + twisty road = grin

Just at the moment around here, less of the big grin, more of the clenched buttocks.

This is what my weather is like, the incident was only about 5 miles away.

Waiting for my train win

Free WIFI here:))

Both wins.

It's a beautiful sunny day here. I should be out taking pictures of trains, but there's nothing around noteworthy enough to justify the 36F temp. Anyway, I think I need a nap so I can be fully awake all day tomorrow after a short night of sleep tonight.

Lunch, nap, win!

Try driving one of these V8 babies. No windscreen and 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds given over 900 BHP per tonne power ...

The Ariel Atom 3 litre V8 with 500BHP is quicker than the 300BHP 2 litre version, which hits 0-62kph (0-60mph) in 2.8 seconds, has a power to weight ratio of 817+ BHP per tonne allowing a 0-60 in 2.3 seconds

A video of the Atom 500 being driven
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

It does have a windscreen. All ten square inches of it. :)
