Hi,

I'm having trouble editing app_config.xml to get more than one WU done using my GTX 660 Ti.
I think I made a mistake with the name, however I don't know which name to chose from the client_state.xml.

So far it looks like this:

<name>astropulse_v6</name>
<max_concurrent>2</max_concurrent>
<gpu_versions>
<gpu_usage>.5</gpu_usage>
<cpu_usage>.2</cpu_usage>
</gpu_versions>

<max_concurrent>2</max_concurrent>

<cpu_usage>.2</cpu_usage>
</gpu_versions>
</app_config>

So which name do I have to use?
Second problem: Even though app_config.xml does not work at the moment the GPU is being used. However GPU usages jumps heavily from 20 to 90%. The curve constantly goes up and down. Why?

You run BOINC 7.0.28 which doesn't support the app_config.xml file. You need 7.0.40 or above for that. So either update to the latest available development version, or wait for the next recommended to be released.

Also if you are running SETI on your CPU, you will want to up the max_concurrent part of the config.

Okay, thanks for your help.

I now got it to work with Einstein@Home.
However I still don't know what "name" to put in the app_config.xml to get it to work with Seti.

The application names here are setiathome_enhanced and astropulse_v6
