just downloaded and installed MapView which i had running on a system a long time ago. But i have forgotten how to set it up. can anyone out there give me a hand?

I RTFM and it was WYSIWYG then i found out it was a PEBKAC error

Did you also install BOINCLogX from the same website? Mapview uses the logs it creates. Check Mapview setttings to ensure it is looking in the right spot for the logs.
