I had 2 WUs with errors, but the scheduler is responding again. I just had a successful upload/download transit.

Me too, had a problem this morning, either schedulers not responding or MD5 checksum error (did not notice it was happening system wide until this evening). But now it seems like I'm communicating with servers OK.

Message 51441 - Posted: 4 Dec 2004, 23:24:51 UTC - in response to Message 51436.

Looks to be working now, but I noticed only one returned result for each of my three computers for December 2 and 3. I send approximately 4-5 per day on two of the computers and 7-8 on the third. Seems a lot of work missing for December 2-3.

It seems that LHC has hijacked the seti-project:
> 05.12.2004 00:02:11|SETI@home|Sending request to scheduler:http://lhcathome-sched1.cern.ch/scheduler/cgi

that's why I had to reset Seti-project. Now all work fine, sorry for resetting.

I dont see the address of seti:
SETI@home - 2004-12-05 00:44:47 - Sending request to scheduler: http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi
Are you sure the client is ok?

EDIT: Sorry, delayed post

You may have already been granted credit for the other WU's, the results are being wiped out as soon as the credit is granted. The Dev's need to change that to where the WU's that are Granted Credit stays in your Account for at least 1 day anyway to give people a chance to see what they got for credit on that WU if they wish to do so.

this client was never attached to cpdn!

2 other m$ Clients are attached indeed to cpdn but not this host.

The Validater's must be way behind though, probably because of all the Wu's that couldn't be reported earlier...

That just means that you set your global preferences at the CPDN site. They propagate to all projects and clients when you set the globals.

Message 51535 - Posted: 5 Dec 2004, 9:22:45 UTC - in response to Message 51504.

everytime when I was pushing "update" for the SETI-Project the following messages were written:

>> 05.12.2004 00:02:11|SETI@home|Sending request to scheduler:http://lhcathome-sched1.cern.ch/scheduler/cgi
>> 05.12.2004 00:02:12|SETI@home|Scheduler RPC to http://lhcathome-sched1.cern.ch/scheduler/cgi succeeded
>> 05.12.2004 00:02:12|SETI@home|Message from server: Server can't open log file
>> 05.12.2004 00:02:12|SETI@home|Project is down
>> 05.12.2004 00:02:12|SETI@home|Deferring communication with project for 1 hours, 0 minutes, and 0 seconds
>>

What has LHC to do with the SETI-project (also the general prefs were from SETI) ? U see when I updatet the SETI-project, the client was sending this request to "http://lhcathome-sched1.cern.ch/scheduler/cgi" - scheduler. And that is what I call *hijacked*.

After I resetted the SETI-project ; then it worked as usual. It is a pitty that I must reset, there were about 10 done WU's (and a lot of DL-errors marked "ready to report").

No offense (from my side !), I will only different the problem I had; it is better for the future . (Hope that is understandable !).
