Would you be impressed if you was running around, belly down, in wet grass?

One of the major problems facing urban wildlife is traffic. One raccoon has found a solution.

Doing better than the unfortunate one I saw this morning that made the poor decision to attempt to live in the brush in the middle of a freeway interchange.

Wonderful footage! I can say with great certainty that my raccoons are far better problem solvers than any of my other backyard visitors - squirrels, skunks, cats and especially opossums.

Yeah, good footage, I was just worried about if the lines carried any voltage, must be cable tv cabling...

The Raccoon was going along between cable TV cable, and traditional phone cable.
They are pretty sturdy, squirrels and rats run along them all the time. If they bite into them they will more than likely get an irritating electric shock, enough to make them angry. Or they might learn not to do that.

That looked like a lot of work for that Raccoon. It must have had a great reward awaiting it.

I'm surprised the Gazelle didn't stop and glare at the house cat, not much of a threat really, pretty pic though.

Raccoons are intelligent animals needing to adapt to the urban environment. That one walking the cables is a hoot ...
