Message 1357186 - Posted: 15 Apr 2013, 12:18:11 UTC - in response to Message 1356948.

Think that's interesting? Take a look at what this homeowner had staring Him right in the face, not 1 Mountain Lion, but 3...

Visitors: A pack of mountain lions were on the prowl in the snow covered yard of the home belonging to John Vomastic
Anyone home? Man has a terrifying face-to-face encounter with a mountain lion peering into his house in Rocky Mountains

What to do if you encounter a lion

1. Do not turn your back
2. Do not run
3. Appear larger. Raise arms, objects, or jackets above your head
4. If you have a coat, open it up
5. Slowly back away. If you are with others, form a group, you'll be less interesting as potential prey
6. Smile! Show your teeth
7. Make loud, menacing sounds, like yelling and growling
8. Probability of risk is serious if within 200 yards

Face to face: John Vomastic was inside his Colorado home and captured this photograph of one of the mountain lions peering in

Oh my...We don't get to see that over here, must be really scary...

Nice kitty. Gooood kitty. I don't have any food you'd like, kitty.

The hills are where the kitty came from.

That baby elephant is absolutely smashing, especially his palying in the ocean.

I love the clip ...

We have raccoons and skunks back this year. I made sure we put out extra food!

Last night we had two racoons and one skunk. Tonight, we are trying for more....

Glad that some of you were the elephant today and enjoyed the clip.
It made me smile, and that's hard for me to do some days.

Oh my...an underwater dinosaur...

Actually those aren't dinosaurs, their a separate line of animals, one of them on the left is a plesiosaur and the other is a mosasaur.

Nope, both plesiosaurs and mosasaurs are quite extinct.
