Wow! Welcome to installment #17 of our Critter Cafe. This is a place where critter people come together to discuss anything they wish. There is no such thing as "off topic" in the Critter Cafe (...although we learned in #16 that heated political discussions may be escorted away to a more appropriate venue!)

To start us out, here is a picture of Eva, busy on the job supervising Eric as he cleans his den.

That's a shameful amount of dust on the blue item, especially its intake grill.

(But I'm almost afraid to look at my own.)

I agree. I could plant potatoes in some areas of Eric's den!!!

I'm pretty sure the lowest levels of detritous are composting even as we speak. A little green, a little brown, some moisture from spilled Mountain Dew cans... sounds like an ideal composting situation to me.

That dust's nothing, Graces shedded fur is thicker than that, it's already getting to be a minor problem, plus the intake dust filter here will need cleaning again, it gets really dusty here, there's a dry lake nearby.

I think she was more in awe of Eric actually cleaning his den ...... :-)

This is the latest addition to our household. Hetty is a 13 year old female, who has decided she likes to lie on the shelf by the letterbox and watch me use the computer. That is fine until the postman arrives and sticks a letter up her bum, then we get a screech and a mad scramble over the keyboard. She's a pretty little cat with a gentle nature that is used to being indoors.

And she looks like a fine little kitty indeed!

This morning, I cleaned the cat boxes, then took a shower. After getting dressed, I went back to the bathroom to comb my hair. What did I find? Fresh poop on the rug. Baaaaaad cat.

Kitty wasn't happy with you ;)

Since they do that on purpose, you better find what upset him/her before he/she leaves more presents...

Usually it means I waited too long to clean the boxes.

(That reminds me, I need to get the rugs out of the dryer before my shower.)

Thankfully I don't have that specific problem, My cat just sometimes throws up some of Her dry food, I think She eats too much, probably She gets cold at times, still its a warm mess, requiring paper towels, and possibly some Clorox oxy rug cleaner and a vacuum cleaner if the cookies are on a semi white carpet.

It sounds as if Grace is treating her dried food like some sort of fur ball - try giving her something a little more moist and see it stops her.
