I have downloaded boinc but I dont know how to do anything. How do you add a project. It wants me to make one, and I dont have anything to add.

You've added Seti as a project; and either have downloaded or are currently downloading work for Seti. That's all you need to do.

So, what is happening?, how is the data being analized? how do we know if "something" is detected?, when I look at the reports of completed projects it is not understandable to me.....
Can some one enloghten me?
How does one become knowledgeable of what is being done?
