This whole thread is nothing but food porn.

Fortunately I don't mind a little porn from time to time. :D

Oh. Hazelnut. I'll take back the "AH!" I uttered when I first saw it.

Well that was disappointing.

It's staff spirit week at work, and we kicked it off with a staff luncheon here in the library (violating one of our biggest rules: no eating in the library).

The Social Studies department all brought stuff with bacon in it. Bacon chili, bacon mac and cheese, bacon pierogi. And someone brought chcoloate cupcakes with chocolate frosting and bacon bits on top. There weren't many of them, so I grabbed one right away but saved it for later. Later came a few minutes ago. I was saddened to find that the bacon only detracted from the chocolatey goodness of the cupcakes.

<sigh> Another bit of innocence lost.

[edit, in response to Vic's pic]
The chocolate covered strawberry was good, even without the silly white lines.

I stopped eating chocolate. Getting pimples from it... (yes, even at my age...)

Now hers's an idea for those who need to take their cake with them or want to send one to a loved one away from home.
