Chocolate French Toast There's a chain of restaurants called Mimi's Cafe that serves a Pain Perdu breakfast - French toast stuffed with a mixture of orange marmalade and cream cheese, served with two eggs, sausage, and potatoes. One of the options is a three-berry fruit compote poured over the french toast. Heavenly, even if you are not suffering from a hang-over.... Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

I got a Mimi down the road too. Thomas could attest, it is not really my idea of a French Restaurant, but the food is great none the less. Oh and I like the price too. Pluto will always be a planet to me. Seti Ambassador Not to late to order an Anni Shirt |

When the Visalia restaurant first opened, the menu and decor were New Orleans/Cajun, but now they have gone more French. Their email ads open with Bonjour, ... I've a friend recently diagnosed with stomach cancer. His doctor tells him that he can eat as much chocolate as he wants. Apparently there's anti-oxidants in there that can help prevent the spread of cancer as well as enzymes that have cancer curing properties. So prevent cancer: stock up on that Easter chocolate. :) Pure mathematics is, in its way, the poetry of logical ideas. Albert Einstein |
