Posting when I should be sleeping. It would be smart to get to work early before the parents take my space.

YOOHOOO!!!! Winning with a car AND a new place to live:)))
540 euros a month and only free the 1st of June but hey, I did it!

Brilliant! I couldn't be more happier for you and the girls :-) Any access to a garden or balcony/window boxes?

No balcony but there's a big park close by where the kids can play.

@Victor: Thanx:) The car is great, been driving all day and I have no fear at all! Was a bit afraid of that to be honest.

@Zappy: Thanx:)

Yer welcome Julie, a park, room for kids to play, hopefully in safety of course.

On another note, on Sunday it's St Patricks Day...

One of the Brits correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that has come to be a bigger holiday/excuse to get drunk in the States than it is in Ireland.

Winning more than usual at work. Or, if I were posting in the Listening To thread, I could say "Nothing, moreso than usual."

It's parent-teacher conference day, and it's over. The few kids that were here to give the parents directions are gone, the parents are gone, most of the teachers are gone. It's nice and quiet.

The coworker who retired last August stopped in for a visit, and the one who had a kidney stone removed this morning just called to say he's home and feeling fine.

They don't need an excuse to get drunk in Ireland :-)

I knew someone was going to say that.
