Winning with loads of snow. I left home this morning at 7am and I was at work at 9.15am! Normally it takes an hour...

Oh well...Late lunch win.

Some more snow over night here, too. And with a nice thaw/freeze cycle, dangerously slippery on the side roads.

Afternoon Win.

Never heard him clean windows, was asleep.
Trying to decide if that was a win or not.

But, can you see out of them?

Winning clearsightedly. No snow today.

Suz had a sleep study. Over 2 hours she stopped breathing 94 times. Not good. She's going on a CPAP mask ASAP.

Continuous Positive Airway pressure (CPAP) is a mode of respiratory ventilation used primarily in the treatment of sleep apnea

Should be fairly easily treated.

Best wishes.

Yeah but until she's on the mask I have to watch her real carefully...

Agreed, but shouldn't any local pharmacy stock them? You can't stay awake all night ....

No it's a specialized piece of equipment that needs a referral. She has to do another study with a mask on so they can calibrate what settings she'll need. Then we'll get equipment location referrals.

...and my schedule does allow me to sleep from 5:30am (when she gets up) to 2pm.

4 inches of snow last night bought most of the south-east of the UK to a
standstill. Someone forgot to send the gritters out...A ho-hum post.

I got one of those in November. I no longer hate it, but I'm still not convinced it's really helping me.

What bothers me the most is when the air leaks out of the mask and blows on my eyes. And it makes my mouth very dry while preventing drinking anything.

Quick win before bed. Bingo session ran long, stopped for a snack on the way home. Gonna sleep good with food in my tummy.

Extreme cold grinds northern France to a halt

and leads to this, Roads, rail and ferries in Kent hit by weather

So it isn't only one this side of the channel. My son, in E. Sussex, reports that the gritters did go out, but got stuck behind lines of traffic stuck because some drivers had't driven carefully enough and blocked the road, even though the road had been gritted only 30 mins earlier.
