If it wasn't for this thread I may very well have ended up at work late on Sunday afternoon. You're welcome. I had to change two clocks in the house and the one in the car, plus the cordless phone/answering machine on the landline*. The cell phone and cable box/DVR take care of themselves. I still need to change my DSLR and video cameras. *I'm not that much of a Luddite. My landline is a magicJack and the cordless phone also connects to my cell via bluetooth so I can leave the cell plugged in while I'm home. I live at 43 degrees north latitude. In the winter the high school kids are in the dark. We had been a few weeks into where they had daylight but turning the clocks ahead they are back in the dark for a few more weeks. Plus I get some more driving into the rising sun. Thats allways fun. And as for farmers, Most I ever knew got up at dawn and worked till dusk. They could have cared less about DST. Cows need to be milked regardless of what the clock said. [/quote] Old James |

Oh, yeah, I-81 old Route 17, driving into the morning sun in the Syracuse or Binghamton area was a real blast. A little west (still in NYS), in winter, sunrise at about 7a, kids furthest out in the district would be getting on the bus at right about that time. There were no long waits in total darkness. |

It's a Littermaid Elite Mega, the rake will sweep the deposits into the bin after 10 minutes, that's why there is a clock I'd guess, otherwise I don't know. This is of Grace when She was a bit younger and yes the rake has an extra 8oz added to it so that the rake will work correctly, the black rake shown has less weight added as it was an experiment that showed that I needed more weight, 8oz works pretty good after almost 3 years with no problems, I posted this Here almost 3 years ago... Tired of the grumbling over DST. I was in an office this morning for an appt and the woman in the waiting room grumbled it was the end-all cause of all her issues this weekend. We all knew about it--just had to go to bed an hour earlier Saturday. Sheesh-Get over it |

Well, some of us are just tired of the stupid back and forth. Most of us are happy when we get the hour back in the fall however. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |
