Someone put a small mini cam on a cat to see what our feline friends do in their spare time, the details are a bit gruesome to say the least, to say cats are natural dare devils is putting it mildly, their also hunters of extreme ability, birds and rodents beware, house cats might be smaller than lions, but so is their prey and House Cats have no natural predators of their own. Totally merciless...

Best recommended practice, keep Yer cats inside, the birds will Thank You...

If they go outside, coyotes can get them. They're getting to be a problem around here.

Best recommended practice, keep Yer cats inside, the birds will Thank You...

So will the squirrels, raccoons, possums, skunks... No doubt this is part of the reason the urban population of those is exploding.

Well exactly! But when I remember that I saw Gene Vincent live in the UK in the early 60's before he died, and the Who and the Searchers live in South London in the mid 60's, then I do feel old. Nice memories though .... wouldn't have missed them :-)

Never saw them live Vic, would have liked to have done. We queued for the Stones at Wimbledon Palais in 1964 but couldn't get in. I saw the Pretty Things, Yardbirds, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bo Didley, and Screaming Lord Sutch, and a lot of other bands on the London circuit in the 60's. Good times.

I was too young and My parents, wouldn't have gone even if the tickets were given to them, they were too tightly focused on their jobs...

A lot of the 60's bands are still going believe it or not, and some are celebrating 50 years in the business. Although usually with only 1 or 2 of the original line up. I've seen Status Quo twice live at the Fairfield Halls in Croydon in the last couple of years, and the Searchers as well. Believe me Vic, all those guys can still belt it out. Even Hank Marvin of the Shadows did a UK solo tour a while ago which I saw. They sign autographs after the show, and I've shaken hands with them. Amazing ....

I wouldn't doubt it, I've heard the groups from the 60's or in the case of at least one, their individual members that are in other bands.

Swinging London of the 60’s. I remember Wardour Street and the Soho clubs like Tiles, Marquee Club, Scotch and Whiskey A-Go-Go to name just a few. Saw and danced to most the biggies of the day for as little as ten bob. Now that was a time to be. And how much for a Stone’s concert ticket these days? GAWD!!

All this reminiscing suddenly make me think of this

I was there from Friday night till Sunday night, through several torrential downpours but what an experience.

I saw Alice Cooper (the real one) in a church hall in a small village called Mickleton, playing to about 200 people.
And the strange thing is, it was only two months ago.

Well at least Alice is around, of course how many people today even know of the other Cooper, that is Gary Cooper?
