Some of the material was played before that, but the Album was released in March 1973.

Has stood the test of time.

If you want to hear bits of it live today catch "Aussie Pink Floyd" in a city near you. Sadly this probably on applies to those Europe and the Antipodes.

Might I impose?

A most wonderful movie about why some of us refuse to grow old.

And that some of us have the most wonderful stories to tell because of what we did when we were young.

And I know some of you young pups will not accept the stories of our youth as fact..
How could you. But, this story might give you a bit of insight about what some of our youths might have been. Die and leave me their money.

I'd rather cast my lot with the lion.

And just so's ya know.
When I get old an drunk.
And stare telling tales of my old age.

I fought a few shieks in my age too.

You should never discount the tales of your eleders.

Whether truth or fantasy, they should be your guiding light.

I escaped with my life......

My kids remember the year of my birth, because Disneyland open the same year. So I am the same age as the Magic Kingdom.

I used to kid around with My Mother(no joke, I did, She didn't mind) that She was as old as the Dinosaurs and She knew I didn't mean it and that I did love Her very much, I'm Her son...

This says more about my total out-of-touchness than about anyone's age. I'm old enough that I should not be able to say this. But music is not a major thing in my life, so I had to ask a friend what that was. And knowing what and how old it is does not affect me or my feelings in any way.

When my siblings and I saw the film "The Lost World" back about 1950, my mum's father attended the cinema with us. I remember asking Grandad, who died in June 1955, if he grew up with the dinosaurs.
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

The album was before my time, but I have always appreciated Pink Floyd, and that is my favorite album that they did.

I believe one of the last big shows Pink Floyd did was right there.

I thought I better tell you I don't feel quite so old today.

The real reason I felt old yesterday was because I had gone out Thursday afternoon, for my first serious bike ride of the year, about 8km but it was 200m up and down the hill. Averages at about 5% but there is one bit over 10%. This is the easy side of the hill.

Finding out DSotM was 40 years old was just the last straw.
