I really could not figure out any other place to put this clip.
A guy, whilst juggling it, solves the Rubic's cube.

Ravi the juggler...

I have never been able to juggle (and I have tried a bit). I also have difficulty with the cube (and I have tried in the past).

Best I can figure, he twitches the cube with the catching hand before he tosses it back up again for the next catch.

One must wonder, though. How his brain can process so much information to be able to handle the (what must be almost autonomous) juggling task along with the logic required to figure the cube out at the same time.
And the dexterity to manipulate it in the fractions of a second it is in his hand.

Wonder what he does for a living.

The man could do bar bets for a living:)

I did that once for a short while, but I was 18yo and had a GS400 Buick.

The bet was......
I can go from zero to 100mph without using the clutch.
And you can ride along.

The bet was usually between $100.00 and $500.00, depending on the inebriation of myself and the snarf of the bettor. Some were really obnoxious, so I held out for the higher bet, 'cuz I really didn't want to go out for a joyride, find some blockers (I had to pay them a few drinks too), and just generally burn the hardware and tyres for a couple of dollars.

The facts wuz...
The car had a reworked 400 cube Buick motor that put out over 400HP, dyno'd.
But the body was stock. Rust eaten here and there. The true sleeper.
I never kidded nobody. Told them all, 'you wanna go for a ride, put your bet down.'

Never let one of them down....wiped a bit of poop offa the passenger seat, LOL.

The trick was....
And this was very hard on the car, but...
I could put it in first gear, and hit the starter. The car would start and chug along until it hit about 10mph. Then it started to breath again.
Behind the 400 cube Buick was a wonderful transmission dubbed a Muncie aluminum case Rockcrusher. Assisted by a Hurst T-handle shifter.
Once a little speed was attained, I could shift it from 1st to 2nd to 3rd to 4th at full power if I hit the shift points just right. The synchros were that good.
Because, even at full throttle, once you hit the RPM limit on the engine, it was just kinda sucking wind. And little torque was being produced at that point. Hit the next gear, and it started producing HP again.

Was never one of the ride alongs ever claimed that I cheated them, though.

Most were happy to get out alive, and went on to tell the next doubter.
Etc., etc., etc..

So, 35 years later, you know the secret of MY bar bet.

Another favorite bet, with the same car, was.

I bet I can get all four tire off the ground.

Nobody thought I was in NASA, so they took that bet too.

There was a certain road in Neenah I knew I could pull this off.
\\\

A long run, a big hitch in the road, and a couple of railroad tracks.

If I hit it at over 85mph, I knew all four would come up over the ground for a few seconds. I always had a photog witness it in case there were questions, there never were any.\\\

I guess I should check my 50you reunion to see if any remain.

Great bets you had there. I learned very fast never to bet a guy at the bar. You will lose.

One that I saw my mate do was betting a guy that he could buy him two pints of beer, and that on his own, he couldn't drink them without spilling them. When agreed, the trick was, that my mate would place the guys hands palm down on the counter and balance each full pint glass on the backs of them. There was no way, even by using his teeth to try to take a glass, could anyone not spill the beer!

I recently hit some RR tracks at 45mph rather than the usual 25mph (I forgot exactly where I was). All 4 wheels were off the ground.

I dunno what it was......the rumors spread very fast in those days.
Every piston chucker for miles around came to take that bet.

Like I said, for a short while, I made quite a living at it.

And it was not a cheat, an honest bet. I did what I bet on, and proved it.

My mechanics at the Buick garage replaced four clutch plates, two speedometers, all of the shocks, and a few things that most Buick owners never knew were on their cars.

The boyz asked me, after about three times, why you want the speedometer fixed, son? You break it every time we fix it? It had a 140 top end. The car didn't.

Chris, these were not your usual 'bar bets'.......
Drink this, toss back that, and go home sane.

These were high school boyz, nothing to lose, or so we thought.
I once outran the highway patrol in that car........another story.

I recently hit some RR tracks at 45mph rather than the usual 25mph (I forgot exactly where I was). All 4 wheels were off the ground.

A few years ago, I was barreling along toward a railroad crossing at about 40-45, absolutely sure in my mind that the crossing was smooth as glass. At the last second, I suddenly realized I was thinking about a different crossing and slammed on the brakes. I still went over it too fast, but managed not to launch myself. With the road condition and configuration, and the speed I was going, I would have not only done a lot more damage to the car than the Duke boys ever did to the General Lee, I also would have gone into a ditch. Probably also hurt myself pretty bad.

Another time, I was sitting near a known rough crossing, watching trains, and this guy started going back and forth over it trying to get the crossing to knock off his exhaust pipe, which had fallen off at the converter so its forward end was dragging on / digging into the road. He kept going faster and faster over it, but what he couldn't see was that the first bump was lifting the pipe into the air and it was just floating right over all the other bumps. He would have done better going slower. He finally gave up.
