Damn, I overshot. Oh well.

Winning as I head off for lunch. Or maybe not, with the food they serve here. Hmm, menu says crispy fish taco. Don't think I've had that before.

I guess I'll call lunch a minor win. The fish taco was two small tortillas, each with two breaded fish sticks, "cole slaw mixture," and green salsa. I tasted the mixture and salsa and took my tacos without either of them, then added cheese and bacon bits. And a bowl of potato soup. I meant to add a bit of ranch and/or honey mustard salad dressing, but I forgot before I sat down and it wasn't worth getting up again.

Since We're being nostalgic, Here's a novel use for an old phone booth, complete with their own phone...

BTW, also winning with snow overnight at the low end of the forecast estimate range. About 3". (I'll round down the conversion and call it about 7.5cm for the rest of the world.)

We got about 6 inches last night, with another couple still coming throughout the day.

Congrats on the win Carlos, winning before teh outage.

Yeah, well the weekend will not be quite as busy without seeing everybody here, but I'll somehow muddle through just fine.

Also posting after having vacuumed half of the houses floor, I'm in cool down mode now, plus My back can only take so much, did the Master bath and bedroom, the hallway and most of the Kitchen where I'm at now.

Only if You are not Me. There got the rest of the kitchen floor(part of My desk too) and the living room floors vacuumed, need to cool off more and let My back recharge for the final assault on dust and excess cat hair in the entryway and the front bathroom, I don't vacuum the front bedroom as it seems to stay reasonably clean there, that room is used for storage really.

Posting probably for the last time before the outage.

Don't especially feel winning right now. I have a backache and I'm about to go to the visitation for someone I know who died last week.

My backache is almost gone, housework, thankfully dust takes time to accumulate around here, oh sure I'll have to vacuum the floor again when the swamp cooler is brought online soon, that's just loose calcium carbonate deposits really...
