	Am I right in thinking that if I join another project the cross project ID should remain the same I tried to join another project but it gave me a different cross project ID, so I came out of that, and now I find my cross project ID is different from what it was originally, it was: b757b0adf37274da8e0cbf6ca8cec144 and it is now: a3a4cc333fc1a2182533d7374b37dc61 I am using Boinc Manager on a Win7 x64 machine ____________ Bob, London. NOTE that if you joined long enough ago in one project, email addresses were case sensitive. They are now converted to lower case. If this is the case, change the email address to something else, and then back. 2) There has to be a path from project server to client to project server to ... that covers all projects. (easiest method is to have one computer attached to all projects). 3) At least 2 round trips must be made to each project - sometimes more to settle on the CPID. Oldest joined project wins. NOTE that if you are attached to 3 projects, with A and C on computer 1 and B and C on computer 2 where you joined C later than either A or B, it can ping pong between CPIDs - until you have both A and B on the same computer for a bit. 4) The stats sites have to pull the settled upon CPID. Under normal circumstances, this will take a day or so. If your computer is too busy to request work from all the projects, you may have to update by hand to get it to move faster. ____________ BOINC WIKI
