It is definitely a cookie press, but on the other side of the pond I think cookies are called biscuits, so maybe Chris would call that tool a "biscuit press". |

I's an interesting cultural thing though because biscuits aren't that big over here, we tend to have them just with mid morning coffee. Whereas cookies in the States are part of your National heritage. You'll very rarely see a biscuit press over here, which is why it caught my eye. Tis true, Chris. We Americans love cookies and we even have a beloved cookie celebrity on this side of the pond! British biscuits, in my experience, tend to be crisp and not overly sweet. I think the closest thing we have here to your average British biscuit is some of the more plain Pepperidge Farm Cookie flavors. On this side of the pond we enjoy cookies across the full texture spectrum from crisp to gloppy and everything in between. Yum!!!!!!!! |

Now Ian, never having tried LSM's baked cookies I am at a serious disadvantage over yourself. So if you could spare a couple and express them over I will pass judgement. Right folks, I knew this one would be fairly easy. It is a biscuit press. And as Angela correctly pointed out, UK biscuits are the equivalent of USA cookies. Therefore the first one with cookie press was N9JFE, closely followed by 3 others. If you all don't mind, I'm going to pass this one off to the next person, Ian. I'm leaving in a few hours for a long weekend away from home. I expect to have internet access most of the time, but I don't want to worry about administering the game. So if you could spare a couple and Rob; I would be glad to send you some, but if I don't end up eating them the lady at the post office claims that some unknown person(s) keeps disappearing them. |

4 of them, stacked one atop the other. Reminds me of removable handles for pots or saucepans. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |
