No, it's not for serving crepes
And it's not for serving grapes

What it serves might go INSIDE
Crepes, quiche or frittata pie

So guess again, if you can
Guess all night says Ang I am!

It appears that above where the handle attaches to the other part, that part curves back toward the flat section. Is that correct, and is it essential to its function?

No one here has guessed the food???!!!???
If I stumped you, that is good
My droll rhymes I shall not cease
Until someone names this piece

Uli-belle, are you around?
This food grows in her home town
Uli likes hers white not green
Do you know the food I mean?

It is late and to my sorrow
Got to be at work tomorrow
So, goodnight... I've got to scram
"Pleasant dreams!" said Ang I am

You may be right, oh Chris my friend.
But we won't be sure until the riddle ends.

White or green, it fits the clue.
And I hear it comes in purple, too.

Kitties being carnivorous
I don't know why they would like the veg, of course.

Up to Ang to seal the deal.
Then off to find a new utensil pic
you shall be tasked, I feel.

Is it
asparagus
or still some other food
over which we're now so perplexed
and vexed?

(A vessel of your favorite beverage other than coffee or beer, served in either of the cafes in other threads, to anyone who knows without looking it up somewhere what this poetic meter is called. (I may not have followed all the rules of said meter. I don't feel like looking it up either.))

Okay, it is asparagus. I can say it out loud because Chris was first.

First item listed.

Okay, a bit later than planned due to the web site going down again, here we go. Same rules as last time, which said same as last time, which didn't really have any. To summarize them as I understand them:

Someone (in this case me) posts a picture of an object that is designed/intended for use in the ktichen.

Other people have to guess or figure out what it is. The first one to get the right answer posts the next picture. The poster is the final arbitrator of who the winner is.

It is not considered fair play to use an image matching search site. Anything else is okay.

What is it (the metal thing, not the wood)? (According to the site where I found it.)

My initial thought was sugar tongs, but the slotted nature of the tongs makes no sense in picking up a dry sugar cube, so I'm going to go with olive tongs.
