Get a grip Mark.
A man's gotta know his limitations. I push snow around for a living while you put wires in firetrucks.
Neither of us is going to be of interest to future generations, but only one of us realizes that fact.

Make it two Robert. No one person is better than another--we just have different skill sets but in the end we are all equal in the sight of our maker.

Not your discussion, Blurf.
Go home.

Your two cents were neither needed nor warranted.

And no, I won't red-x your sorry arse for the infraction.
Not worth my time nor the mods.
Just get off yer high horse while you still have it under you.

Mark, you have 15 open threads on page one of the Cafe right now and you don't want Blurf to comment in one of them?

I'm with Blurf and Robert. When the great book of life is written, NONE of us is going to even make a footnote.

Oh, is it always about having the most credit?

Except for that, Mark is always friendly with people.

Credit is a result of the way we are using our tools. Otherwise we happen to be different, separate and specific people with a common wish of obtaining a specific goal. In this case, being able to detect an "intelligent signal" coming from space which is telling us that we are not alone in the Universe.

What a big task! As it has been stated another place - mountains of data.

We are supposed to be trusting our tools. Otherwise we are left on our own and have to make a guess when it comes to things around.

If y'all really have a problem with me, just red-x every post I made in the last hour or so and let the mods go to work.

I have not yet begun to defile myself......

Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand opposed.
I suspect there are A Few Good Men who might stand by me, kids.

Stand down musicplayer, please.
It has nothing about credits. Although I am very proud of mine.

I believe I have answered the question.

They need me on that wall.........I call the code red most every time the servers go down. I email Eric almost every time things go asunder, and many times, he answers me. Because he trusts me. He knows me. Flat out sober or dead down drunk, when I tell him how and why something has gone away, when I call him for a code red, he knows I ain't shitting him.

The rest of you, stand freaking down.

I have knowledge and credentials that would put many of my nayayers to the freaking floor. And some of you think you have the right to call me to the carpet??

Go on with it, then. Play your cards. I have a few to play too.

Meeeeeeeeeefreakingmeow.

You cannot handle what I dish out?

You do not want me here?

OK, push. Push again. Push harder.

I can go. I can take my creds and my $600.00 a month electric bill and just kiss you goodbye.

Is that what you want? Don't give a damn either way?

At this point, neither do I. If I cannot even get friends to say somebody other than myself is F'd around here, I guess I don't wanna stay.

Just remember, no matter what you decide, I shall always be They eye in the sky.....

Listen to the Lyrics..

You say this a lot....lay out the credentials, man. Tell us what has made you believe you are on such a higher plain than us??

This not a challenge nor am I being rude...I am just asking you to back up your words. Judging by other posts in this thread, I am not the only curious one here so lay it out. I want to know. No private message-just lay it out here and let us judge for ourselves. What "credentials" would "put many of my naysayers to the freakin floor"??

My play is to keep you guessing just what I have under the hood.
I have done it for years, and so far have exposed just enough horsepower to prove I am right.
You happen to notice the post about the response I got from Suzi Quattro?

I have been told I was shitting about kissing her for YEARS. I wus not lying, kids.

I am not always Pissin' in the Wind..... And now of you shall have to recognize that fact. Hmmmm.
How's that crow taste then?

LOL

Just who am I?
Call me 'old man' just one more time.......

And my friend, Blurf....you are gonna need all the help you can git.

Yer jackass hormones are fixin' to get you into a world of trouble.
One neither of us wants to get into. At least I do not.
I can handle my own end, but that would be taking advantage of a man in a wheelchair. Not that your mind or your mouth is handicapped, sir. But that does not buy you any advantage if you stage the fight, understand?
All bets are off if you take the first swing.
I suspect by your silence since I replied, you thought better of your first inclination. Wise man.

Who you allegedly kissed/slept with 20-40 years ago is absolutely irrelevant in the question I've asked. You could sleep with a million stars--to quote Shania Twain, "don't impress me much". Your boasting of women you've been "involved" with is just plain creepy.

I'm done. Someone else (like Robert) can ask you further questions you won't answer.

LOL...
I post verbatim a response I got from a gurl I kissed backstage at a show some 35 years ago. She admits somehow slightly remembering it.
And than is not enough for you?

You are something else. And I ain't (am not) gonna reply any further to your nonsense. Trolling, you be. And I shall have no further part in it.

Have fun amongst yourselves.

G'Day.

BTW, you kids might watch the whole movie.
Might teach ya something about life and who you might respect once in a while.
Otherwise, y'all gonna have to learn the hard way.
Might save ya some time and a lotta trouble. Just sayin'.

Mark. Are you still there? The thread title has a missing "s".

We still got Area 51 and are now being hit by asteroids once again.

And also, if we were able to detect an extraterrestrial signal, how would that affect our notion of God being the creator of the Universe?

My guess is that one bit or part of the puzzle does not necessarily give us the complete solution or explanation of everything.

My kinda gurl/.
Bad attitude, love badass cars, not afraid to throw a punch.

Come hither, hon.

But, I want the Charger.

If you watch that Charger take off, it has, I think, drag rails in the first scene. This is one serious damned car.

Ok, now we are over the car, we can get down to Amber.
She is bi. It don't matter for her scenes in this flick, she is everything a guy could want. Honey with an attitude. And she just wants it sooooooooooo bad.

Come on kitty, kitty, kitty. Come get some of THIS.

Whether she knows it or not, this is one SERIOUSLY beautiful gurl.

The look on that gurlz' face at :53 I would not wish on any man....LOL.
She swings around after decking the b and is ready to tear something up.....
Amber is not exactly a 'little gurl'...... I suspect she could take me out if she wuz really that angry.
Hoo hah.
And the pain in her eyes at :38, I would not wish upon any woman on the planet.

Hmmm, I'd rather take my chances with Nick.

I am gonna make a damned good try at making the footlights, at least.

When a nobody makes a play at becoming famous or well known, it almost always turns out to be a bad thing for others.
It seems that mundane, faceless grey people who try and make their "mark" in the world tend to be very noncreative in their choices,
That's how they end up simply choosing to do something mindbogglingly over the top stupid.

Good luck with that "Mark"
