I suspect that NK will be a glass parking lot real soon.
I don't want it. Could lead to a lot of other worldwide trouble.
But, fatkim seems to want it.

If he makes one more misstep, somebody will have to co-opt his ignorant bluster.

And that is keeping me up awake at nights.

Not that I wish to be awake when it all comes down.

'Relax'???
Just because they might not land in my back yard???

What kind of statement is that?

I abhor war. Of any kind, for most reasons.
And you are telling ME to relax.
Well, that is comforting that you have it all under control.

Lets face it 1 day they will be right might miss 99 outa 100 but it only takes 1 time and it's bye bye see ya on the other side.

To about a third of the worlds population that "1" has already occurred with
the Prophets prediction of, "The coming of the Messiah" To the Muslims this will
have been a reference to Mohamed, for Mohamed states that both he and Jesus were
sent by God. Hence since Mohamed came along after Jesus then it could be
construed that the second coming of the Messiah was Mohamed himself. So that's
the one the prophets got right. Well one of them anyway but I don't hold out
much hope for any of the others. Well, I don't suppose the Christians would agree
that Mohamed fitted the bill for this Messiah business so to this end it could
be stated that we are still waiting for a prophesy to come true...if ever one
of them eventually does come to pass.

Ok, let's clear this up.
Simple things.

I was born of German parentage who came to this country in the '40s.
I had nothing to do with the purge of the Jews.
I like the flick [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sQhTVz5IjQ&bpctr=1365182204] and it has nothing to do with my parentage.

You want to know what my grandparents went though to come to this country???

They did not just jump 'cross the border.

WTH? No, no, no. What are your sources? You think Muslims believe Mohammed was the Messiah? No, no, no. They believe he was just the Last Prophet. (David Koresh disagreed.) Jesus ... they (or some ... half?) ... believe he was a man ... a prophet ... that God pulled up to Heaven. They say he did not actually die on the cross. Someone else did. Jesus is with God in Heaven. They believe that it is at the Second Coming that he will fulfill his role as Messiah/Savior. But, nonetheless, is a man.

As I said, it could be construed by some...if they so wish.....but we do digress
somewhat off the main topic of this thread.

Me thinks Ping-pong may end up having to use that on himself.
Looking at the forces deployment map then it does appear that America will
supply the attack on North Korea via air and China the ground attack via their
armies. I suspect that Ping-pong will have gone all quiet come this time next
week then on later occasions just stir the pot a little, just to try and keep face a bit.

Hi,nick。Thank you for your point of view, I think the Korean Peninsula, the outbreak of large-scale armed conflict is unlikely, but the United States increase the military layout bring negative influence to the security situation in china. Obama return to the Asia-Pacific region, the greatest impact on China's diplomacy, followed by the military, the nuclear crisis, forms one kind of balance in the Northeast Asia will, will bring long-term negative effects to China because the United States security situation, would increase the military presence in Northeast Asia, will further increase the control of Northeast Asia force.

This is the Chinese are worried about, but ninety-nine percent of the Chinese don't believe the war would break out, because North Korea is always talk about, he wanted a variety of resources assistance, North Korea know a bottom line: no matter how the United States would not be the first Korean clamor, against North korea. His the doings is to increase the bargaining chips.

I think that eventually, even if North Korea does not start a war, that they will become so isolated the regime may collapse anyway. This may take a while, but I think China and the US should be discussing these things before it becomes critical. If both countries have a good understanding then things will go much smoother at the point North Korea actually falls apart. It may take many years, but I really think it will happen at some point.

I think the rest of the world would welcome a simple regime collapse.

It might not be pretty to deal with, but the other end game would doubtless be even more difficult to deal with.

hello mate

Hi,nick。Thank you for your point of view, I think the Korean Peninsula, the outbreak of large-scale armed conflict is unlikely, but the United States increase the military layout bring negative influence to the security situation in china. as much as the U.S.A would like to increase there presents in asia we in Australia do not want U.S.A bases in our country and have told the Americans this so China needn't worry about the U.S in Asia they would need Australia and it's resources to fight any war here in Asia and we are not just gona let the U.S walk in and do what they whont even if they are our friends so I hope your Chinese friends do the right thing and stop fat kitty so we can still be friends with China otherwise it will probably be our guys that go in first before the U.S send there guys in (so much for friendship why we gotta allways go in before you U.S guys go in , ww2, veit nam,Afganistan)
We hope the chinese do flex some muscle and put fat kitty down you wont here a peep outa us if you do we will quietly have a beer and say thank's china for being a citizen of the world and our freind

Just so's ya know........

I am not making light of the situation.

I am losing sleep over it.
The thought of a nuke going off halfway 'round the world some night keeps me awake.

I truly wish kim bubblepants would just shut his mouth and the whole thing shall go away.

I sadly recognize the truth that once a braggart opens his mouth, it rarely is shut up rather than by some use of force.

I wish for all those affected that this shall not come to fruition.

I am not a warmonger......I only want peace.

Latest

The USA at least is trying to cool the situation. The synopsis seems to be that they may well fire a missile but it will be a test, and then NK will say, we will mean it next time, that is a warning. If it is detected as on the way to any American territory then it will simply be taken out.

It's a pity that Jim Mahjong can't also be taken out. A joint SAS and Navy Seal operation could do it very easily, but we know it won't happen. Best way is to let his regime in Pinpong town just implode. He doesn't have his country behind him, just yes sir/no sir army generals. Tighten economic and trade sanctions, freeze them out of world affairs, and keep the place ringed by military might.

Chris Im thinking the only way is that will be achieved is through a total naval blockade. No ships in ,no ships out of N. Korea. What ever they have for food and fuel is what they live on. And that includes China to participate in. Bad part is the innocents have to pay the price first. I dont see pingpong or his generals going with out food.
