Ok it's raining here and My front door is leaking rain water at the door knocker.

Need to fix that. But then, who doesn't like wet knockers? (That's a British thing, right?)

Not just British. Didn't we invent the wet t-shirt contest in the States?

Wet knockers is a universal pleasure?

I'd imagine I first saw a wet t-shirt contest in some American comedy or other if I'm honest.

*Controversial post alert*

You can't beat British Humour though. Recent example: http://www.flixxy.com/my-blackberry-is-not-working.htm

Phoar!!! i works as well as o :-)

There was a tap on my door the other day. I Must have a word with my plumber about that .....

Don't tell Me that was You? ;) Yeah someone thinks My place has no one at home, someone knocked at My front door and I was in the bathroom and about to go back to watching TV in the living room, I said I'll be right there, I answered the door but no one was there, some kids a while back thought no one lived here, so My place got pelted with eggs, probably some dumb kids again thinking the place is empty, even though My car is parked outside.

But the notice says "No Royal Mail collections from this letter box..." Is this a decoy?

It's actually a cunningly disguised speed camera ....

Well the mail isn't going break any speed limits!

The metal plate marked "1 SAT" indicates the next collection (1st collection of Saturday). In fact "NEXT COLLECTION" is cast into the box itself to the left of the plate. The full schedule is listed in the lower 50% of the notice.

I now see that the notice continues "This letter box is privately owned." I guess you have to trust the owner to enter your letters into the "real" Royal Mail.
