Patty Andrews, the last of the Andrews Sisters trio, died Wednesday at the age of 94. I always loved them all. Another one of my favorite vocal harmony groups from my youth. Meowsigh and a few deeply felt tears. Rest in Peace, Patty. Hope you and your sisters have fun singing together again. Fox News obit. And a song to remember them all by......Boogie Woogie Bugle boy. I heard that on the news last night on my way to work. Also stated they were second only to Bob Hope in the number of USO shows they did for the troops during the war. Thanks for the link Mark, That is the song I will always remember them singing. [/quote] Old James |

Yeah that's what they were famous for, singing in harmony, their a little before My time, but then I've seen them on YouTube, still they were quite good. From what I've read, Patty was the one in the center of the singing trio.
