My first task has validated. My HD 4000 run time was 1/8 that of a core2 CPU.

Perhaps to search for or ask for (inseparate thread) for detailed instructions how to setup anonymous platform mechanism for this project. This binary for testing, not consumer-grade software so some experience not only encouraged but required for use. I expect valuable feedback from testing.

With your computers hidden, we don't know how far you're got, whether you're running Stock or Anonymous Platform, etc.

I was getting tasks. Nothing changed on my machine or client. Suddenly, I cannot get tasks anymore. Did something change on the server maybe?

Edit: Now showing requests for both GPU and CPU (I have both in my app_info.xml

I've reported the intel_gpu request failure to get work to boinc_dev, can someone with a intel gpu supply a sched_request file to boinc_dev for David to see:

Please send me an example sched_request file
that requests Intel GPU.

Here is mine. This is in a win8 machine, 7.0.52 (soon to be upgraded to .60). If it matters, I am using an app_info.xml with both GPU and GPU listed under app_version. The full app_info.xml is in one of my earlier posts in this thread.

Edit: Also emailed to the thread on boinc_dev.

Intel Releases OpenCL 1.2 Driver and Tools Update for Ivy Bridge and Haswell

The driver is for Windows 7 and 8 only. Intel has also released an updated SDK along with the driver.

Also of note, Intel has also recently updated their VTune Amplifier 2013 tool to add support for collecting GPU performance metrics in OpenCL applications running on Intel GPUs.

I wonder if this will improve GPU crunching? I'll give it a shot.

Can anyone provide an alternate download for this Intel GPU package ? The domain appears to have expired, so the URLs for it no longer work.

So I have been running solely on AP for Intel GPUs on my laptop for just about 2 days now.. I'm avging bout 3 hrs 40 min for tasks.. This seems to be about the same time for CPU based tasks also.

Since setting this up, BOINC has been telling me that I don't have any thing in app_info.xml for seti enhanced. I tried to search for some app_info for it, but was unable to find anything..

But that should prolly be discussed in another thread I suppose..

I'm not even sure if running both CPU and GPU at the same time would be beneficial at all since GPU is on the CPU anyways..

I'm keen to use this version soon. It would be really nice to see some use for my HD4000 and get the max out of my machine. Would you recommend that it's ready to go yet for those who maybe aren't programming types, like me?

Your link pointed me to a ATI GPU app but I found this on same site

http://lunatics.kwsn.net/index.php?module=Downloads;sa=dlview;id=354

I take it that this is NV GPU app

AP6_win_x86_SSE2_OpenCL_NV_r1761

Thanks Mike
