I keep a supply of Jimmy Dean's sausage, egg, & cheese croissant sandwiches in my freezer, but for late night cravings, I prefer Jack-in-the-Box croissant sandwiches, or that waffle breakfast sandwich (sausage, egg, cheese between two small maple-syrup-flavored waffles).

If you prefer biscuit sandwiches, Hardee's/Carl's Jr. makes some good ones, but they don't serve breakfast items before 0600.

I don't like Jimmy Dean's. I do like Aunt Jemima's, but I can't find them anymore. I keep a large stock of the Breakfast Best sandwiches they sell at Aldi.

Hardee's are pretty good, but there aren't any near me. I last had their breakfast when I was in St. Louis last year. I haven't seen a Jack in the Box within 100 miles of here since I was a kid.

Well I like everything there, except for the rice, though it does taste nice, I'd just rather have a baked potato w/margarine and sour cream on top, plus if the spud is good enough, there wouldn't be much left as I've been know to eat them skin and all...

I always eat the skin on a baked potato......

No no, I mean REAL chips. Not these American nibbles, or these namby pamby french fries thingys.

Those look good.

In my opinion, if it's a good fry (or chip if you insist) it doesn't need anything on it. If it does need something, my first choice is cheese. Otherwise, I'll take a mixture of mayo and either ketchup or bbq sauce. If there's no mayo to mix with it, I'll take plain ketchup, but I will not take plain mayo. Never had HP sauce, so I can't comment on it.

Oh, and would everyone please cut back on the salt? Most places could cut it in half and it'd still be more than I want.

Those would probably be great... without the chili. Yuck.

In Britain we do insist upon calling them chips so there! Traditionally we sprinkle just salt and vinegar on them, although personally I like a bit of sauce (especially from our Lady Setizens!) But they do taste better out of the paper than on a plate, although scientifically it shouldn't make any difference :-)

Yeah, that's how I remember the "Fish Bars" in Scotland. Coarse-ground salt and big jugs of malt vinegar on the side shelves.

I like the fries at Culver's...
They tend to be on the fat side, unlike the skinny little things they serve up at MacDonalds.
