Newspapers

And then there are those who read the Times in public and the Sun in private...

Reminds me of that picture of a certain US president holding a childern's book upside down...

Wondering what was inside of that 'children's' book... That president wasn't Clinton by any chance?

6" snow

Too late for snow, but we'd take 1/2 an inch of rain. Sierra snowpack reported at 40% of normal, farmers worrying about water again this year.....

All today on this POETS Day
it has been a sunny, dry and warm way.
In other parts, both North and South
it has rained buckets enough to fill a mouth.

This dive also serves food, right?

I decided to try KFC's new boneless Original Recipe tonight. I got the 2-piece meal and added a piece for $1. Surprise, when I opened the box, it contained... no, not 2 like my fast-food luck usually runs, but 4 pieces. Since I wasn't very hungry, I ate 2 and saved the other 2 for tomorrow. I ate the biscuit and mac and cheese, though. As for the chicken, it was okay, just what its name implies. It still has the skin, as far as I can tell. I miss the days of skin-free crispy.
