We went to a children's play yesterday called Babayaka.
Tells the story of an evil witch who lives in the dark woods.
Quite scary! With thunder and lighting and darkness with creepy noises...
Yoko was so afraid! Quite understandable...It said 5+ on the ticket for a reason.
Yoko is 5 but I think it was too scary for children of that age.

Why does anyone mentioning they would do something "If only I could get of my butt and do it" make me think of a very childish joke?

The joke goes along the lines:

"What are tacks on chairs a sign of?"

"I don't know"

"The sign of an early spring......."

(Sorry Mark, I just read your post about having a tenth cruncher that needs you to get a degree of motivation out of your chair to get it sorted....)

A question that has been asked many times - somewhere between ten and one hundred and ten....

Thanks for the celebration. Now we need to organise Monday's Kolaas for drinks all around ...
It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

Not much organising of the Koala needed...
I was just thinking I would like to try a pint of 6X, and one of the Koala appeared with a superbly poured glass for me.

Talking with him he did explain they have had a "bit of an issue" with one of the Wombats behind the bar who kept getting the size of glass required for a particular drink confused in that he was serving wine in pint glasses, but ale in small wine glasses, then moaning that he couldn't get the requisite six glasses of an 1876 Bordeaux from a bottle...

Maybe the kitties need to sprinkle a few tacks on the couch.

Don't tempt 'em Mark - especially if they've been in communication with Monday's Antipodean cohort of helpers, they can be really mischievous....

Makes me think of the "Seven Ages of Man" speech from Shakespeare's "As You Like It"...

I'm not sure I do like it!

The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slipper'd pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side,
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide

Ok Ok I cant get into my dinner suit any more, last time I wore it was 3 years ago ... BUT I do not have a bum bag!!! Specs and slippers, er, yes ....

If it's a comfort, I can't get into my wedding dress either anymore:)

I can't get into my Dress Blues anymore - the Jumper fits, but the Pants are too big.

Weird story... I also already thought of attaching every computer at work to BOINC, but I would probably get caught :(

That's the infamous NEZ...
He still holds the top total credits at Seti.
mikeej42 has about 10 million to go to overtake his record.
