JML wiki bio........
Joan Marie Larken

I am not mentioned, but I was indeed there.
She was 'friendly' with Cheri.
Lita was more friendly with her guitar, never slept in the same bed as we did, as far as I recall, and that was LOTS of years ago.
More history could perhaps be pried out of my mind, but I disconnected with Joan many years ago........and I think perhaps it should stay that way, kids.

This is her public facing image on wiki these days.........OK, I'll go with that.

Joan Marie Larkin was born September 22, 1958[4][5] at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She moved to Rockville, Maryland, in 1967 where she attended Randolph Junior High and Wheaton High School.[citation needed] Jett got her first guitar at the age of 13. She took some guitar lessons, but quit soon after when the instructor kept trying to teach her folk songs.[citation needed] She also became involved with a bartender at a club from the town,[citation needed] at which point her family then relocated to the city of West Covina, California, in Los Angeles County, providing Jett the opportunity to pursue her musical endeavors.

In Los Angeles, Jett interacted with some of her idols, including Suzi Quatro, the first female bass guitar player to become a major rock star.[6]:1–3[7] Quatro was vital to Jett's career,[citation needed] and Jett adopted many of Quatro's qualities including her shag haircut and style. Jett would quietly wait in the lobby of various hotels that Quatro was staying in during her US tours, just to catch a glimpse of her.[8] She wore wooden platform shoes with "Suzi Quatro" carved into the side.

Jett's favorite night spot was Rodney Bingenheimer's English Disco.[9] She was introduced to the glam-rock style she so adored[2] as this genre was explosive in the UK and Europe, but never quite took off in the US. Rodney's was the only place Jett could hear this style of music, and it certainly helped develop her image.[citation needed]

I love it when they say that Suzi was vital to her career, (citation needed).

You want a citation? I knew them both. Suzi was not a physical love, Joan was.
The song 'do you wanna touch' I think came from our relationship. Only had a peck on the cheek from Suzi......but I did hold her hand.

I think Suzi and I are both beyond the age where the paperazzi are gonna slam my door and question when I held her hand.........LOL.
Back then, it might have made the front page.
I think it was in the year before she married her love of life, her lead guitarist.

With Suzi, it was just a kiss,
With Joan, it was quite something else.
But, we are talking about two different gurlz.
Suz was never anything different than the usual gurl.
Joan always wanted to walk both sides of the street.
And she could.

These are simple memories now.........

Like I said, there is not much more I can tell ya.
Any media inquiries can kiss my arse at this site.

But, it won't reveal much more than I have already stated here.

Do ya wanna touch?
Get real, folks.
I knew her in about .76. That song was not released until '80 or later.

I did touch her.........there.
Her songs did not touch me.........there.........until a few years later when she reflected on our 'thingy'........

I don't think Joan ever had me on her mind much.....it was such a casual thing.

Oh, except for the impact it had on ME, of course.

Any other contacts with Joan?

Let's keep it off the boards.

Conversation and thread closed, please.
