I won't die anytime soon, kay?

I shall just be less able to communicate.

So, I shall continue to do so via utube clips, as I always have a bit.

I guess I was a [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=CvwQmxLaknc&feature=endscreen[/url]

I just want you to realize the significance of this scene.
Doc went to gunfight Ringo before his friend did because he knew he was already a dead man due to his TB, and faked his illnes even worse than it was, rode out before him, and did the duel before his friend got there.
It took me years of watching this flick to get that..............
I just be really stupid.
This is the resulting duel, I don't have a clip right now of how he faked his illness in the hours before.

Bye now, Ringo.

This is a most excellent clip........video is amazing for a what, 30 yo clip???

This was shot in, as I recall, 35mm Kodak shit, remember that?
No digital crap available. One take per frame was all you got.

I suppose I owe you the references.

I have been quoting this movie for years now........

Ever single frame was a reference of mine.
Never knew for the first few years I saw it that it was based on the true scene.

Enjoy......or relive your past......whichever is appropriate.

Tombstone, should be the full monty.

Been there for years.

But I don't give a darn what your religion is or what you believe in...........
You don't EVER shoot a freain' priest.
The man who follows the pale horse rides with him.
Watch the whole flick....the last few minutes ride it out.
The pale horse rides, and let there be no mistake, I ride that horse.
And the devil rides with me..
Once some of you get the real wind of that, you won't be so proud.
I wouldn't either, but I was taken as a child. I had no will.
The rest was cast in stone, or I would not be here talking to you about it.
Don't ever kiss the stone.

2 hours, 14 minutes of it......once somebody gets wind of it, won't be there long, watch it NOW.

Listen up, gurlz.

Before you stoop down and call me names.

You need to listen to this.
The name of the song is 'It's a Man's World'
But gurlz, the second line of the song says, 'and he needs s strong gurl'
To get him through this life.
Yeah.......
I do know what I say sometimes.

Nice version,k.
You need some churchin' up, laddies and lassies both.

I am her to tell ya......It's a MAN's world.....but he ain't nothin' without his gurl.

It seems that all bets are off tonight.
That's ok, Ike, you drew 3 kings.
'S ok, I'll just post what I know.

You want to judge.......

Fine by me, I got a lot of soul I can spare to some of you who need to take it.
Take what you need, just leave the rest behind.
I'll pick it back up when you move on.

And you will. You'll foget about my firefights with you soon enough.
I got a wagon full of folk I need to bury some time soon.

Now.......we play for blood, remember?
And this time, it's legal.

Call me a lunger, call me a southpaw, call me a drunk......
But say 'when' and the axe shall fall.
You don't know latin, and neither do I.
But, as the saying goes, one does not need to speak to a horse to ride one.

Just a few notes.
There are times in my life I have known that I was different.

I have known at times, things I should not have known.
Could not have known, and yet I did.

My mind is cloudy most of the times, and yet I have these moments of crystal clarity when all is apparent and all is revealed to me.

These moments are few and very fleeting, and yet they have scared me since I was about 20. I understand most past and present moments, and their truth. What people said to me and what they really meant. Who I can trust and who I must distrust. What I must do, and what I cannot.

I have done my best to hide from these thoughts, these visions, since then.
You want a snapshot? My brother jumping from a bridge in Appleton.....me a few feet away. The problem? I saw it it my visions a few hours before it happened, and I was feverishly trying to reach him in the hours in between then and when it occurred. The outcome? It happened just as I had seen it, and there was nothing I could do to change it. In reality, I reached him on the bridge hours later and saw him jump. A few feet away.

I have not slept soundly since. I think my conscious mind tells me not to allow myself to go there if possible, so when I start to sink into deep sleep, an alarm goes off and I awake, startled. So now I am afraid to sleep too peacefully.

And so I haven't for 35 or so years.

I finally found an episode of the 'Twilight Zone', the later version, that kinda explains it, although I don't know what triggered it. I was not hit by lightning ever, although I did manage to zap myself quite soundly a few times whilst working on old TV and radio sets back in the vacuum tube days. An old CRT, shut off for days, once knocked me out for a few hours down in the basement.
I don't think that did it...LOL.

Anyway, here is the TZ episode that prompted me to make this revelation.
You can make of it what you wish, but the ol' kittyman has some things he must run from at times. You may think what you wish, but you notice that I am not typing gibberish at this time. Quite sober. Wish I was not most of the time, and this is why.

The Lineman...

Some simple things set me off........into another world. And sometimes it takes me a few minutes or hours to return.

For example, I just saw the numbers 747 in my stats.........

Oh, instantly I had to find This cut.....

And so I guess I leave you with my boots on, as a fellow compratriate and soldier died too. He gave me many moments to think about. His son has tries to carry one, but he is not the same.
I go now, but please listen to him......probably not his last show..........
Close, though.

The rest of the story..........

Just another kittyman post, but something I have to unload from my shoulders.

I know that some here accept my love of cats as truth.
I also have been made aware that some think it is just a ploy, game, attention getter, whatever.

Do any of you remember when I first came to the Cafe and mentioned cats?
It was kinda a strange thing at the time. Cats? Who wants to talk about cats?
Cats were not cool on Seti at the time. I made cats cool on Seti.

I have told you the story.....
I HATED cats as a young boy. Had no use for them whatsoever.
Then, one fateful day, an ex GF showed up one morning and dropped 2 kittens onto my bed whilst I slept. She said something along the lines of 'they're yours now'. And both of them wandered over and started to give me kitty kisses.
That was it. I was forever smitten by kittens.

They were named Squirrel, for her amazingly bushy tail, and Tigger. What else do you name a little orange tabby?

I lost Tigger to CRF at the young age of 5-1/2 years, after 9 months of caring for her with meds and giving her sub-q fluid injections every single day. I was never so heartbroken in my life.

A few weeks later, the GF shows up again and says mama kitty is having another litter, do I want them? I was rather unsure, but thought that Squirrel should not be alone. And the loss of her sister, Tigger, had affected her more than you could imagine. What I was kinda hoping for was another little orange tabby.

And don't ya know.......the litter of 3 kittens was born, and one indeed was a little orange tabby. Who came to be Tigger II. The other 2 were the most beautiful black, brown, and gold things to ever grace the planet. They came to be Bandit, for her black mask around her eyes, and Purrball.....
Purrball was gonna be something else until she was a few weeks old and had her first vet visit. She purred so dang loud, the vet could not listen to her heartbeat. The vet took her over to the sink and ran water on her hand to startle her, and Purrball just looks up at her and keeps purring away. Vet eventually gives up and says 'I guess this one's healthy enough'....LOL.
