A regular pipe why not?

Somehow, I wouldn't be able to picture you with a corncob pipe, Julie.
Mammy Yokum, in the Li'l Abner comic strip (Al Capp; 1940's), smoked
one. You might Google it, for a sample, if possible.

Then, again, you might possess not only Mammie's sense of humor, but
also, her sense of persuasion. :oD

Definately! I knew you'd appreciate the contrast.
Let's face it, though -- she had a mother's responsibilities,
which you're aware of!

Knock, knock, knock.
"All my friends?"
Knock, knock, knock.
"All my friends?"
Knock, knock, knock.
"All my friends?"

"I had to leave. They were having fun wrong."

In this 2nd version of "Waiting for Godot", there are no rules beyond the usual S@H general Cafe rules.
So, take a seat. Or whatever.
Just wait for Godot patiently.
Or impatiently.
Examine the gestalt of the existential emptiness.
Or fullness.

Have fun.

(Or hang "on in quiet desperation." I've heard "it's the English way.")

"Oh, heck no ... .
I am SOOO done with Twitter."

Also for my ship to come in.

I think Donald was waiting on a submarine as well.

Does Godot own a fleet?

As I'm sure you all knew, Godot is derived from a French slang for "shoe", godillot. Which Samuel Beckett later admitted.

As I'm sure Chris knows, this admission is not possible, because Dr. Sam is currently lost in quantum entanglement. He may have even leaped outside of his own lifetime.

The last I heard, he'd spent four years in the 2150s, with occasional excursions to 1944 and the 2800s.

Or are he and some buddies waiting for Godot in a diner somewhere?

It would be nice if he could look some recent history when he was in the 2150's - say about 120 to 130 years old and report back!
