Sorry, I've been working a lot again. Good stuff. Unfortunately now I don't know if I've missed him or not?

Thought you were just loafing around sitting under a tree, puffing on your pipe?

Ahh, now that's what I call waiting ;)

More likely a long stem clay pipe.

Lol. You are a priceless lot! Now that I think about it, it was kinda smokey in here. Maybe Godot doesn't like that?

When you go to make a milkshake, and realize the ice cream you bought mistakenly is LOW FAT.

Oh the HORROR!

I do that here, but I would not do it if I was back in my home state (your state). Winters just aren't the same here, even though nearly a mile high.

Not knowing what Julie actually looks like, I can only picture her avatar smoking a pipe. It's pretty incongruous.

In my case, the closest that would ever happen is a kid's plastic pipe for blowing bubbles. (Do they still sell those, or did they quit because they "promoted smoking"?)

I really don't know David, but I'd wager here in the US they are not sold anymore. Along with candy cigarettes that I remember from when I was a kid. I don't know which is worse; that they used to have candy cigarettes, or that my mother bought them for me when I was a young child. LOL

Back when I smoked pipe and cigars, my favorite pipe tobacco was a blend of two black cavendish tobaccos that I got at a smoke shop in Hawaii - one was cured in vanilla, the other was cured in coconut oil - smelled great and tasted kinda like chocolate. Now whenever I'm around pipe/cigar smokers, I have to fight off the urge to join them.

I think the Health and Safety Police stopped it because the kids might suck up some detergent. In my youth some younger kids did that, but never twice <g>.

Nowadays (officially) they dip a plastic loop in the gunk and then wave it around, or blow gently toward it. Great preparation for flute lessons. But we unreconstructed grandparents just tell the kids to use a straw / neoprene tube.

I believe you can also get a USB bubble blower with a motor and fan.

I loved them candy cigarettes when I was a kid.
But now that you mention it, they don't sell them anymore...

Candy Cigarettes

Oh wow thanks for that link. And no surprise that a) Cigarette manufacturers worked with candy companies to make this happen, and b) They once carried NAME BRANDS on them! wow.
