I guess what I need is a step by step instruction.
Found info about this but no precise instructions.
Thanks

From the README_x41zc.txt:
2) Manual installation under BOINC anonymous platform
- For standalone (non-installer) installation, the package archives contain example '.aistub' files
which are text files containing template information intended for advanced user manual installation.
- These .aistub files can either be used as is and merged into a preexisting installer based optimised
application installation using the installer supplied aimerge command, tailored before merge, or
copy-pasted into an existing app_info.xml file making the usual configuration adjustments manually.
Basically copy all files to the project directory, and run aimerge.cmd
or edit your app_info and add the app_info info from the .aistub into your app_info manually.

OK
Put the files in the projects directory and ran aimerger.cmd
Restarted boinc and no errors so far.
From now on; do I need to install the lunatics files or the x41zc only?
Also; the other win7 has a 660 nvdia, so do Iuse the 42 or 50 version?

bj At some point there will be another Lunatics Installer, what will be in it is anybodies guess,
If you want to Install CPU apps (on a fresh machine), you'll need to use the Installer, then add x41zc afterwards,
For the GTX660 use the Cuda5 x41zc app, for the 9800GT use the Cuda23 x41zc app,

Great.
Will do that later. Question is now: do I use both apps (x41zc overrides lunatics) in future installs?
Sorry if this all sound dummy but never got that deep in this but have been in the project a few years. Just would like to get the most of what I have. Like if you have a v8 engine and put in 4 spark plugs. Kind of defeats the purpose.
Thanks Claggy for your patience and help. Seems like when ever I have a question; you pop right in.

Running the aimerge.cmd just merges the different .aistub files in the project directory, if you're Installed the AKv8b2_x64_SSE3 app before, you'll have a AKv8b2_x64_SSE3.aistub, if you installed the AP CPU app you'll have an APAVX.aistub, etc,
in no way does it overide the rest of the Lunatics apps,
