Those who advocate the violent overthrow of government are ...

Those who advocate court and legislative changes to government are ...

Those who need to attract attention to sell newspapers are ...

Implying that West Point (and perhaps other things military) have/has become (a) hotbed(s) of liberalism?!?

NO not at all. That maybe they should confine the study to people we know are actually trying to or killing us.

Perhaps West Point is more concerned with those who might seek to dismantle the MIC than a threat to the population in general? (Was Ike right?)

I dont see any dismantleling, Just maybe a forced downsizing due to economics.
And any way why would the amry be studing internal threats? I thought that was the FBI's domain.

Before Al Qaeda first struck us in 1993 (remember!?), they first planned.
But you want internal?
OK: Timothy McVeigh. I'm sure he did some planning first, as well.

And Like I said up above, I thought the FBI had authority over American security or would that now be homeland security?

Darn terrorists!

Just goes to show, one person's "terrorist" is another's "freedom fighter". It all depends on your point of view.

“Shouldn’t the Combating Terrorism Center be combating radical Islam around the globe instead of perpetuating the left’s myth that right-wingers are terrorists?” the staffer said. “The $64,000 dollar question is when will the Combating Terrorism Center publish their study on real left-wing terrorists like the Animal Liberation Front, Earth Liberation Front, and the Weather Underground?”

Ummm I thought that the Military and the Officer therein were Stridently Conservative. Hmmm Or has West Point gone all soft and liberally
