I5-3570 want to use all 4 cores for normal processing of 6.03's plus GPU 660 for 6.10's but I can process AP's twice as fast when a full core is available. Anyway with an app_info or app_config in 7.42 to tell AP OpenCL tasks to use a full core? Thanks |

I'd try with: <avg_ncpus>1</avg_ncpus> <max_ncpus>1</max_ncpus> |

Ok, since I have 200 tasks waiting to process, I'll set NNT and wait to try this so I won't blow up those 200 tasks with an Edit fit for a Joker, as I recently did over at MilkyWay trying to get two GPU tasks to run at the same time. I think I'll upgrade to 7.042 to try the app_config method, less chance of a bad edit |
