I was just looking at my machines' inconclusives and got a bit alarmed by the five newest ones on my i7.

A couple of them are fairly normal, a difference of 1 spike or something. That happens a lot. But a couple of them got my notice because of larger differences. In one case, I got 8 spikes and my wingmate got 12; in the other case, I got 0 and s/he got 6.

Is my computer suddenly producing bad work? I don't know what it's been doing lately; it hasn't had a scheduler contact since Sunday night. (I'd be worried that it froze, but it has contacted Einstein recently.)

From a quick look id say its your wingmates running the cuda fermi cards that are at fault. I get the same errors from my I7 920 running a GTS 250 GPU. 9 times out of 10 its not your fault. See the thread on discussion of invalid host messageing.

Hmm. Maybe you're right. I hadn't noticed before that they're all the same wingmate. Since I posted, the host has made contant and has eight more inconclusives; seven of them are the same kind of thing from the same wingmate.
