Glad you're home, but follow through on the colonoscopy. I ignored my doctor's orders to get one for two or three years.

I suspect it's either salt or MSG that causes foot swelling. At least cut back on carry out and packaged foods and cook your own for a while, even if it's not anything anyone could call healthy. I love my own mac and cheese and I have the satisfaction of knowing there's no MSG or other crap in it.

I don't use MSG and I do cook for Myself, but that's ok, I only put salt on My eggs and it's not a lot, also I don't eat any packaged foods, My freezer isn't big enough, besides I do know how to cook and not just how to heat stuff...

That's ok Celt, right now I have a whole in My left arm from an IV tube that's healing, I'm not shure why that was done, as taking a blood sample normally doesn't require an IV tube, but whatever. I got home tonight I was tired and hungry as I'd hadn't eaten since 8pm PT last night(I was too concentrated on going to the Hospital), but first I had to feed Grace, then do some work here, then post a pic and then type out a post here, so now that I'm home I can retire from being a pincushion for a bit, stick a needle in Me and I close My eyes and put My teeth together, just another poke, next the peek...

Victor -- I've had two colonoscopies, thus far. Watched both, on
closed-circuit T.V. They found a couple of small, benign polyps,
during the second one, and removed both.

Will need a third, in three years, rather than five, but -- better
safe, than sorry, as the saying goes.

Good luck,

The procedure doesn't bother Me, it's the prep, it can be messy, I had to clean up after My late Brother who had lung cancer and I'm about 20' or so in a straight line from a bathroom....

Tanks.

Well done Vic. I know it's a lot of effort, but could well be worth it all. Good luck with everything :)

Thanks Andy and all, I usually wear black socks, but I didn't have a complete and unholy pair in black, so I tried these old grey ones, they barely fit now...

The swollen feet are possibly a side effect from some prescription pills I'd taken to get rid of a problem that I used to have... I used to help take care of My aging Mother until She passed away...

Glad to see you've been and seen the quack, and that he didn't immediately load you into hospital. Hope all goes well for you tomorrow (Thursday)

Glad to see you've been and seen the quack, and that he didn't immediately load you into hospital. Hope all goes well for you tomorrow (Thursday)

I bypassed the Quack by calling them and them telling Me to just go to the Hospital, afterwards I'd done some research, some of the calls I made were unneeded, but at the time I didn't know that as I hadn't found a piece of info yet that made the calls worthless to pursue. I'm hoping I just have to call in the get a referral to a GI Doc, as I know I might have to drive beyond Barstow to Victorville to see one and that's about another 38 miles each way to drive, so far My cars tank is still nearly full and it's about 2 weeks until the 1st, I'd looked around and found a money order that I'd bought and cashed that as it was still valid(barely), but if I drive to Victorville I sure won't be driving 55mph, 70mph sure as 55mph is ok between Yermo and Barstow, but Yermo to Victorville? Boring as hell, I tried that once last year one way, I drove home at 70mph instead, I have cruise control installed in My car, even though when I'd bought the car, the 1999 FORD Escort zx2 Sport Hot Coupe didn't come equipped with cruise control, but was pre-wired for cruise control by FORD(I'd bought the parts off of ebay and a local FORD dealer installed them, My ankles loves Ford Service).... One day I'll completely repair the car a/c under the dash as I need to get an adjustable steering column off of ebay so that I can get into and out of the car easier, as that is one small car, think model T or maybe A for size, It would fit in My Grandpas old house that He built in 1919 that's still standing in Culver City CA to this very day(My Dad was raised there and lived in the 2nd bedroom, which is located above a 1 car Garage that had/has it's own bathroom, the main house is a 1 bedroom house with 1 bathroom, a kitchen and a really small living room, My living room by contrast would be the size of half of that old 1 bedroom house and that would exclude the part above the garage and the garage too).

I'm sure not going in today, Friday I'll see, as I just found out the local Doctors Office where I go is swamped with flu zombies, thankfully I already got My shot back in October, so I just need to find out when they open and try and get there before they open, lovely in the cold, trying for a referral for a GI Doc, there goes another whole day, shot to hell in a handbasket.... Medicaid patients are given low priority, going in will take a while, I'm lucky that I can even go to their high and mighty places of worship, the current Docs waiting room looks more like a fancy church, than where Doctors and Nurses work.

A whole day shot to Hell, may as well be Friday....

I expect to see an apology from Rob/Bob.
