Thanks to Julie and Uli to have assured with so much implication the moderation of the forums SETI@home during so much time.
They're absolutely wonderful people, with a seamless availability and a kindness without equal.

I think that our Fred was correct in deciding to rotate Julie and Uli, upon the basis, that they had both served as Moderators for a considerable length of time. It is only right that others should be given the chance to flex their wings and show their capabilities as well in that role. All teams, of whatever management type, benefit from new blood now and again. That keeps the front line vibrant, up to the mark, and on the ball, to deal with the issues facing them.

But, both of these Ladies, to their credit, have now expressed a wish, to return to the fold sometime in the future. On-line bulletin boards have traditionally been a male preserve, and it is to Seti's credit that we have had a number of our Lady Members willing to undertake that onerous role. Those who have never done it, just wouldn't fully understand the pressures involved. It would not be prudent to lose ones assets, which are in short supply.

We need a balanced Moderator team, it has proved it's worth, and I would hope that, in the fullness of time, when they have both had a good rest, that consideration should be given, to inviting them back again, if they are still willing.

+1 to the last two posts. We need balance between Gender and Time Zones.
