I am currently using Fedora 15 for a beowulf cluster using LAM 7.1.4. I am following directions for MPI here: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/MpiApps I have already installed LAM and required libraries to build SETI binaries and everything checks out. I use the source code from the nightly tarballs to compile, but every time I run configure, I get the following error.
============================================================================

ERROR: trying to build the seti_boinc client or server but BOINC was not
found.

You can get boinc at http://boinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/

============================================================================
and it leaves me clueless. I know I am most likely missing something small, but I thought everything would be in the source, right? I have been using the older versions of SETI as well. Any help would be great.
