Same, installed .40 win installer, since the new 6.10 fermi was introduced, simply cannot get lunatics to start, gave up. Did you restart Boinc?, the app_info is only read on startup, if you're done it right you should get this line on Boinc startup: 08/01/2013 13:45:22 SETI@home Found app_info.xml; using anonymous platform Claggy

Same, installed .40 win installer, since the new 6.10 fermi was introduced, simply cannot get lunatics to start, gave up. What do you mean you can't get Lunatics to start? The Lunatics Installer only installs the apps you selected, afterwards there is nothing called Lunatics to start, Boinc on the other hand will have this line in it's startup: 08/01/2013 13:45:22 SETI@home Found app_info.xml; using anonymous platform With your computers hidden we can't tell whether you're been succesfull or not. it hasent worked and how do i unhide computers please To unhide your computers, go to your account page here on the web site. In the Preferences section in the middle of the page, click "Seti@home preferences". Scroll to the middle of that page and click "Edit Seti@home preferences". Click to put a check mark in the box next to "Should SETI@home show your computers on its web site?" Then at the bottom of the page, click "Update preferences". [edit] I see that while I was writing this, Claggy clarified that he wasn't replying to you. ____________ David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri.

it hasent worked and how do i unhide computers please Okay, as Claggy said, your computers aren't hidden. I also see that you are correct, you are still running the stock apps. I go back to the question, have you restarted Boinc since you installed Lunatics? Just clicking the red X doesn't stop Boinc; you have to click File > Exit. Then go into your Start menu and start Boinc again. If that doesn't do it for you, I can only assume you made some mistake installing Lunatics, which puts you beyond my ability to help you. I'm sure someone else will, though. [edit] I take it back. I had only looked at one of your computers. I see now that 5947891 is running the Lunatics apps. If that's the one you're saying it didn't work on, it did work. ____________ David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri.

computer is ka-dargo We can't see your computers' names, only ID numbers, but this is enough information; you only have one that runs Vista. You are correct, it's not running the optimized apps. At this point, I bow out. ____________ David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri.
