I was wandering, how long does it take for a file to be processed completely and when credit points are given for these 58 files. There are files waiting from the start of december 2012.

Seconds to months - seriously. First the "twin" of the work unit has to be returned and compared to your result. If they agree then you get the credits, if not another copy is sent out to a third person, and their result compared to the two that have already been returned. If they agree with one or other of you then credits are awarded appropriately. If they don', out it goes again - for up to the number of permitted attempts.

Of course, if you are second to return a result for a particular Work Unit, it is as long as it takes the validator to get around to it. Typically this is a few seconds.
