NVIDIA Quadro NVS 290

Hi,
according to this link

NVIDIA Quadro NVS 290 is not CUDA enabled. Yet, i found some links on the web, where people discussed CUDA code mapped onto the above card. it seems the card is no more supported by the current version of CUDA (but i don't know which CUDA version supported the above card and where to download this version?).

As I have to do some CUDA development using the above card, i would appreciate any solution to solve the above cited problem. Many thanks

You add CUDA capability by installing the drivers from the GPU manufacturer, in this case Nvidia. Assuming that you have Windows Vista, 7 or 8, 64bit, then these are the latest drivers available for the NVS 290, which add CUDA 5.0 support.

if you want to use older drivers, select them for download through http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us.

Thanks Jord for the reply. But according to the tab (supported products) page, the driver is valid only for NVS Series:
NVS 510, NVS 310, NVS 300

and not my card NVS 290...yet it used to be CUDA enabled

Ahem... it says there as well:
Quadro NVS series:
NVS 450, NVS 440, NVS 420, NVS 295, NVS 290, NVS 285

Thanks again, I missed it (worth noting that NVIDIA support informed me that the card does not run CUDA code). The following list is then not complete
