LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've got to pour Eric one of those beers!!!

Angela, when Eric looks at you he sees you in Binary. The beers (or other beverage of choice) just relaxes him and improves the math.

Oh good grief!!!

*giggle* well I could be wrong! Sorry I do not speak his native language...

Back when I was still a mod I posted on here that That the rules were not posted in the then current LPTPW thread.

So Now we have another disgruntled player because it is to hard to copy and paste the rules from the last time they got posted.

Maybe you need to make a rule that if the winner dosent post the rules in the first thread he must forfit the win.

Edit- And I was the one who had to go way way back in the archives to find the damn rules. Yes they have been modified over the course of play by consensus. But They do need to posted at the start of each new winner.

And the Mods dont need to mediate a game that the rules should have been posted for.

Just relax will ya?
We all know the rules and newbies can be introduced in a friendly way to them. And slips by regulars usually don't require more than a raised eyebrow.

Follow the spirit not the letter.

And anyway it's all just a guideline. [which doesn't give you leave to ignore them. But it puts the responsability for your actions into your hands, not into the hands of some lawyer. If I wanted to be nasty, I'd quote what most Germans said after WW II. I'm German. I wouldn't have let them get away with it. But it's easier to follow a rule than to have your own moral compass.]

I'll shut up before it feels like politcs...

This may have been suggested before, but how about a single-post, locked sticky thread that lists all the permanent rules for all the games. If someone wants to add special rules when they have control of a thread, they can do so in the first post. Discussion should be here in the Discussion thread.

Now that Mystery Landscape and counting to xxxxx have gone away, it would be fairly easy to compile such a list. I might even be willing to do it, if it can wait until next week.

(Wait: is Mystery Landscape officially out of business, or is it just dormant for lack of interest?)

This was one of the hardest ones
ever for me to judge. I was thinking
of how His Holiness might judge it,
and then realized that he would find
a way to see that every one was a winner.
