Can't speak for Ian's shipmates, I was just quoting the chorus from an old country song. But from my own experience, it does seem to be true that even the least attractive gals in the bar look better and better as the bar's closing time approaches....

My problem is that the rules don't get posted and then people get moderated for violating rules they weren't aware of.

Sorry you are upset David. I posted my personal rule and the ones the Mods have to follow. If you get Modded for anything outside of this, send me a PM. I am more than happy to duke it out, if I find your reason valid.
There is also Fred our one and only SuperMod. He is great people and will answer your concerns.

Every post has to follow the rules at the left of the post box. Only Fred can grant an exception to that and he doesn't.

In the last person, the OP is the one who has to enforce the rules about multiple posts, etc. I would hope the mods don't concern themselves with that, and OP's don't red-x for that. If someone by accident double clicks and gets a double post, (usually obvious as the time is within a few seconds) I would hope they red-x their duplicate and ask a mod to hide it. If I were running the game I wouldn't count such as a "double post" as I believe that was for intentionally double posting.

(As an aside, you should also edit the duplicate to say it was a mistake so that people coming by while you are waiting for a moderator to hide it are aware you didn't intend to double post.)

Occasionally an OP has requested topicality, such as requesting every post contain say "win" or a variant. Some got creative, some just tossed the word on the end and some ignored the request.

We did hash out the basic rules earlier in this thread and one was to post the rules at the start of a new round. I'm not going to red-x uli for not doing so. She rarely posts in this game and appeared uncomfortable winning while she was a mod and that was for a very long time.

We should all be flexible and tolerant. Just call that advice.
